The vehicle certainly appeared in excellent shape and felt the car was of good value as well. Ive really been searching for a 1966 or 1967 standard shift corvette convertible for $80k or under.May 20, 2024

Paint is all cracked. Rubber components shot etc. It’s definitely a complete restore job, but it’s all original. Oct 02, 2023

Love the year, but looks like a major investment to just clean it up, let alone make it a looker.Feb 16, 2023

LIKES - Good looking, Girls liked riding in it ! In shop once to have shifter stalk welded up so it quit sliding around when shifting. Jeez I was cool then ! The fit and finish was ok for those years. OIl changes and air filters were cheap back then. But ! The car was a dog from the first stomp on the gas. Good fuel economy. Gas was 17.9 cents a gallon. It was a blast driving to the pubs at night with the top down. Except for the winter.Sep 16, 2013

This car was a total frame off restoration over 6 years ago. NOW an incredible show car shown all over California and Nevada. I drive this car every weekend and is not a "Trailer Queen". I show her in over 60 car shows per year and have won over 200 trophys to date.Jul 20, 2013

A lot of fun to drive... Easy to work on, with no computer. The car gets a lot of attention any where you go. I do not drive it in rain or snow, like we get a lot of snow anyway, here in Texas. Apr 29, 2013

Loved the look of this vehicle, comfort for two but being rear-engined and rear wheel drive was quite a scary thing.
In a bend, one had to either close their eyes and go - or look and go s-l-o-w-l-y and survive.
Still, it was a fun carApr 19, 2012

The performance was way better than from factory as the engine was a 283 bored to 301 and it had 2 four barrels. Also the bumpers and top were off most of the time. I never got beat from light to light because I could get 60 out of 1st gear. It came with a 3-speed.Apr 16, 2012

This car was so much fun to drive. It is in excellent condition. Pereformance was great. 4 speed, shift was very smooth. Had a few squeaks and rattles but don't they all. This car was the most fun to drive of all.Mar 20, 2009

She was a short track racer that had been hit in the front right corner. the old man that owed it lost his eye sight and could't race any more. he advertised it as a race car only, but i reconized it right away from my boy hood dreams. She currently has 425 hp and tires from a dodge caravan. she is the greatest car ever made, with the HD suspension there are only 144 of these to grace the earth Jul 25, 2008

This pic of the Corvette is not one of mine. This is what mine is bound to look like though. My dad and I are fixing it up and plan to put a 383 stroker in it and possibly nos later on. The car i know is going to be a light blue, maybe a little darker than this blue. We plan to add some type of flames in the white coves. The flames will most likely be blue. The frame is all restored and the body has been re-fiberglassed, so all we need to do is join the two halves and will have one killer Vette.Jun 29, 2008

It was just the only car I had a picture of on my work computer...
But, I love it! My favorite one is the Honduras Maroon 1962 Corvette Convertible. I actually paid the guy for it when I was about 5!May 15, 2008

My is one of 15 copper colors sold, a driver and top flight, having both after market tops, plasticon & bubble top. %100 original. We've driven it all around the country 116,000 miles on it and loved every mile. Meeting people that ask what is it.Dec 20, 2007

replicas are better performers mechanically for someone who does not work on cars like me. Nothing like a 50's vette to bring back fond memories.Jul 31, 2007
