Amazing car, very fun to drive with just enough amount of power. Small and compact which makes it easy to maneuver. This is my daily driver and I love it and yes a V8 has superior performance but I dont race so this is perfect.Nov 13, 2024

Good power, awesome sound, similar performance to previous generation of V8 GT,
Not a V8, however for a V6 it has good get up and go and is perfect for everyday driving without being too much. Oct 17, 2024

Overall..looked great...body showed no signs of dents, scratches. Interior very nice except for door trim peeling back. Car ran good...shifting required extra effort going to third...but no real issues.Sep 10, 2024

I like the 2006 Mustang. Im more old school, with the 74-64. I love the older ones with the 289 motors. But I reckon Id say the 05/06 Mustangs run a very close 2nd.Mar 22, 2024

Love the car so far, had a mustang many years ago. They have come a long way. Sporty, economical, and extremely enough power when you need it. It’s fun to drive and just tinker.
It doesn’t have a usb charging port nor Bluetooth. . Did not want nor did I get all the technology available or higher model. Very happy with my purchaseFeb 12, 2024

Two tires were bald, racing stripe was cracked and chipping away, and it was missing the mustang logo on the side.
Car ran great tho. Feb 09, 2024

The 2010 Mustang GT is the last to use the 4.6 liter, 3 valve, V8 engine. This engine is reliable and packs more than enough punch for any car enthusiast and usually at an affordable price. To top it all off the 2010 offers the more modern body style so you yourself can ride in style.Dec 27, 2023

I had a 2010 mustang GT 13 years ago and traded it in for a new F150.
Nice truck but I regretted losing the mustang. I vowed to own another mustang when I retired. That day has come and I was lucky enough to find a great buy on another 2010 mustang GT. I absolutely love it. I got an exceptional deal and I only wish it had navigation. Everything else about it is perfect for me. Oct 02, 2023

Car has excellent luxury and comfort features. Disappointed that no backup camera installed on the car. Very good bang for the buck. Compares well with Chev Camero and Dodge Challenger.Apr 19, 2023

Everything is nice about this car. The only draw back is a v8 engine likes gas. This is a very sharp car with a nearly perfect interior that looks like it rolled off the factory floor. The outside is in fine shape also.Jul 16, 2014

Love this car. It came fully loaded with every option, Nav, heated seats, 6 speed automatic, premium sound system, performance handling package, and lot's more. Added the spoiler, side scoops, new splinter, and a sick Cervini Hood to give it an awesome look.Jan 04, 2014

This car was so simple to drive during the first weeks over my past V8 Stick 08 Mustang, the control was given back to you and not the clutch. Much more forgiving power wise and much more comfortable ride. The gas is comporable of how eratic you drive. My V6 gets 34 to the gallon if i drive properly and then 12 if i am acting like speedracer. this car does go but i don't recommend that because it still is a powerful car. Much more visibility then earlier models, no more guessing when you can stop backing up or relying on a camera or sensors. Good turning radius that is only better with ease of transmission. They got it right this time, i have drove stick for 3 months, and find it much, much easier then other v6 mustangs with stick i have driven, also has an insane idle RPM of about 750, well thats my opinion. Good car overall, would buy again.Nov 30, 2012

All around love for my Ford. It is a great car in general. I have had nothing but fun with her. For anyone hoping to have a new Ford you can rely on a Mustang for everything. Minus of course the winter. Oct 31, 2011

I love this car and would recommend it to anyone. It has great stock
performace and is extremely upgradable. I don't think there is a part on
this car that you can't get upgraded. It's cheap at first until you upgrade
it and it is very fun to drive! Nov 03, 2010

I love this car! This car is very fun to drive. The styling is extremely fun and retro. Interior is very comfortable and functional. As far as performance, this car is not outstanding, but it is ok. I mean, it is a Mustang! So far, I have only added a Boom-tube single exhaust, but hope to add a Ford Racing CAI with a custom Bama tune in the near future. Exterior styling will come as well.Jun 28, 2010

For the V6 the Mustang has some respectable power. The gearing on the car
seems to compensate for the 210 horses. So far the engine has been strong
and sound.
The car is a blast to drive and looks stunning. However fuel mileage for the V6
is poor and simple creature comforts are missing from the Ford Mustang. First
off there are no automatic headlights. You MUST turn your headlight on
manually. Next there is NO option for a sunroof....EVER. You go hardtop,
glass top or topless, or go home! Please don't ask Ford for a sunroof on your
Mustang! Also, there are other little things missing, like garage door buttons on
the rearview mirror *(even on upper echelon trim options) are NOT available.
It's kind of odd.
The Ford Sync and iPod jack help ease pain of the aforementioned missing
options, as well as the dual cigarette lighter sockets.
All in all, if you want a basic, true grit sports car and are not into a LOT of
creature comforts as I am, then this is the car for you. My wife loves it and
wouldn't trade it for the world.....even without the options that I demand.Jun 27, 2010

Performance - The acceleration in this car is great. With the options my Mustang GT has, its one of the heaviest non convertible models available. Yet I still managed to run a 13.5@105 MPH stock in the 1/4 mile on the stock mud & snow rated all season tires. I've seen timeslips and videos of 2008 Mustang GT's without the 200+ lbs. of options mine has run 13.1 to 13.3 in the 1/4 completely stock.
Braking for street and autocross use is more than adequate. However, I needed to upgrade the brake pads and brake fluid for track use. With the stock brake pads and brake fluid, after 20+ minutes on a road course, the brake pedal was spongy and I could tell the brakes were overheated. An upgrade to Hawk HP+ brake pads and Motul RBF 600 helped that.
The handling impressed me. It was much better than I expected. The newer (2005+) Mustang GT's have near 50/50 weight balance along with a new rear suspension design. Its different than the 1979-2004 solid axle Mustang GT's rear suspension. The front suspension is similar to the E36 and E46 3 series BMW's. Currently the Mustang GT and non supercharged Shelby Mustang GT are the fastest cars in SCCA F stock competition. They usually run faster times than the S2000 and Mazda RX-8 in stock class. After driving this car, I know why.
Build Quality - This car hasn't needed any repairs in the time I owned it. Considering how hard its driven, I am amazed at that. The car did develop an occasional squeak on rough roads after I took part of the interior apart to install a short shifter. The squeak is probably due to me not putting something back together correctly.
Appearance - The exterior of this car really impresses me. It has some of the retro 60's Mustang styling, but updated to fit a modern car's needs. The dark candy apple red metallic paint and satin black stripes go well together. The dark charcoal accent in the center of the spokes on the wheels is a nice touch.
The interior also has some styling that reminds me of the 1960's Mustangs, such as the shape of the top of the dash board, but also is modernized. The instrument cluster has a retro look, but also has a small digital display telling me useful things such as gas mileage, miles to empty, average speed, and gives me the ability to select up to 256 colors for the instrument cluster lighting. Heated leather seats, 6 disc CD changer with MP3 player, and 500 watts powering the subwoofers are some nice modern features.
Cost of Ownership - Gas mileage is good for a 300+ horsepower V8. I get 25 MPG on the highway and 18 MPG in my mostly stop and go driving to and from work. Since the car uses semi synthetic oil, oil changes cost a little extra over your typical economy car, but oil changes aren't required to be as frequent as some other cars.
Fun Factor - The car is a blast to drive. It has great acceleration, good brakes, and good handling. Also, I've had many people compliment me on the appearance of my car. I really enjoy taking drives in this car for no other reason than to drive it and enjoy my time behind the wheel.Feb 20, 2010

All in all, a car that lives up to the roots in looks, power and fun. the car sounds terrific, looks beautiful and is fun to drive. Could do with more power and torque, but in general an awesome car to own.Feb 18, 2010

Great straight line performance. You can't beat it for the price. It doesn't corner too well stock - I get a lot of wheel hop and cornering can be pretty exciting if you think you might slip.
I haven't had any large problems so far, but I haven't had it too long. An interior screw was out the first week I had it, which was not cool. It was in the trunk, though, so not a huge deal.
I love Mustangs. This year especially looks so aggressive. The interior is alright, with some nice touches. The seats could hold a bit better, though.
20 mpg, which is pretty good for the performance. I saw about 18 before I got my cold air intake and had Brenspeed tune it.
SO MUCH FUN.Sep 28, 2009

* Performance - torquey but not fast, soft breaks, good handling considering the simple suspension setup.
* Build Quality - has been very reliable, just needed a rattle fixed early on, but it was an easy fix
* Appearance - exterior looks amazing, interior is okay
* Cost of Ownership - great price for a RWD car, not-so-great gas mileage, low insurance cost, cheap parts.
* Fun Factor - despite it's low powered engine and outdated suspension setup, a few cheap mods make this a very fun car to drive.Aug 07, 2009

Only down side is that it is V6, but everything about the car is awesome. The Shaker500 is an awesome sound system for a stock Mustang and the pony package adds a nice touch to the exterior and interior. Highly recommended.Aug 06, 2009

Performance & Handling: With amazing accelleration and handling, a truly unique Mustang with Hurst Short Throw Shifter, 4.10 Ratio Ring & Pinon Gear, Shorty Headers, Racing Performance Calibration & Exhaust, Cold Air Intake, and wider tires on a lowered framework.
Build quality: Until I find it, a water leak is keeping the passenger side floor mat wet. Any shifter besides the stock FORD part would improve the shift from 2nd to 3rd. The MGW product added to my last car was smoother and quieter than the Hurst, but the Hurst is a more solid & rugged shift package.
Appearance: Couldn't stand the passenger side BULLITT chrome swirls above the glove compartment so chose the GT/California Special package, improved with blue ZENONs for Main Lights (H13) and Fog Lamps (H11), Eleanor Style Front Fog Lamp Kit and Grill, Shelby GT 500 Rear Spoiler, Dark Shadow Grey Rally and Side Stripe with GT/CS Logo, and Tinted Windows. Replaced the space saver tire with a full-sized polished chrome rim and re-carpetted the trunk area.
Cost of Ownership: $8000 in fuel per season (winter stored for 4-6 months) is worth it. Last two Mustangs were convertibles, but this all-inclusive package justified the loss of the ragtop feature. One must remember to breathe when driving this rocketship.
Fun Factor: The MACH 1000 in my 2003 had 2 subwoofer enclosures, twice as much bass as the single subwoofer of the SHAKER 1000 / SIRIUS / MP3. Sound improves with both rear seats folded down. Otherwise this machine is an amazing package for both the car show circuit and daily commutes! Aug 05, 2009

I love this car. From the factory it has a great amount of performance. With a few aftermarket bolt-ons, it can get ridiculous. The only complaint I have is that the interior has a few rattles and doesn't fit together that well. Its still one of my favorite cars every made. I get 26 mpg on the highway going 80. Its fun to drive, handling is pretty good for a factory car, competes with evo's and sti's. Never had any problems with reliability. Jun 24, 2009

Performance- Engine has lots of power, really comes alive above 4000 revs. Handling is pretty good.
Quality- Pretty good quality, some interior pieces could be better but overall good.
Appearance- Fantastic, beautiful inside and out.
Cost of Ownership- Gas cost is high if you push it hard but otherwise is not too bad. Insurance is not too high either
Fun factor- Really funMay 18, 2009

Ran a 13.85 at 102.7 mph. Managed 29.2 mpg on a
160 mile road trip. Best Mustang I've ever had. Has
great road manners. I get more compliments about
this car than any other I've had. Would recommend
this car to anyone for its value and high enjoyment
factor. The gearbox is smooth and the car has great
throttle control.Dec 31, 2008

Wonderful Muscle Car! The light turns green and this car leaves everyone else behind. The acceleration gives it plenty of attitude and it hugs the road tight enough for any turn and breaks quick enough to handle any speed. It takes some gas but is built well enough not to need repairs. Looks beautiful inside and out causing heads to turn when it roars down the street. This car is a thrill to drive!Aug 13, 2008
