If you are looking for a great SUV, the Cadillac SRX is a good one. It is roomy, rides real smooth and looks great as well as has all the bells and whistles. Check it out.Jan 22, 2022

This was well appointed car. It started with little effort. The power sunroof was nice.
I compared it to a 2006 Ford Explorer, which gets less MPG, but is highly repairable with few tools and some moxie.
We needed the third row seating, and that seems to have been an SRX option, but quiet normal in the larger passenger compartment, where all the Explorer has a multi-cargo layout, making for a more capable Soccer-Dad- Friendly vehicle.
The only savant for the SRX over the Eddie Bauer Edition is its easier entry for the less mobile persons (poor leg movement), but a good step will help the Ford win back the consideration. Aug 16, 2021

Drove the car 3500 miles on a trip. never had one problem, except the cargo area was a little small for a 10 day driving vacation. It handled the mountain ranges fine and got about 21 miles on the highway loaded with 2 adults, 2 kids and luggage. Apr 06, 2015

It's a CTS with the body of a SUV. literally. Handling is amazing, power is awesome, comfort is perfect, you can drive this car long distance with no problems whatsoever.
The maintenance is a tad high but it is a Cadillac so to be expected really, I do not fault the car for that.
If you're looking for a performance SUV that's somewhat on the smaller side without sacrificing too much of the cargo space then the first generation SRX is the car for you, it's quick, powerful, comfortable and stylish and it has a ton of features.Feb 03, 2015

This car was great, had a lot of power. Lots of room to pack a bunch of stuff in the back. The third row that was power operated was really nice to have as well when traveling with extra people. Jan 26, 2015

Other than putting on a new set of tires, I have just had oil changes. Great for traveling, or tooling around town. This is a smooth ride and you feel like a million bucks driving it around. This car is a must have!Dec 28, 2014

The Cadillac SRX is a great SUV. It has plenty of power and luxury options. The sunroof is huge and the seats are comfortable. I really love this car. I put 17" wheels on it so that I could fit better gripping tires and not loose gas milage. They have hardly worn after 10,000 miles.Sep 10, 2013

We call this our 'Seattle Convertible' with the Moonroof that goes past the back seat.
This is truly a performance car with the comfort and safety of a well built luxury SUV Crossover vehicle.
The 320 hp. V8 performance is like a Corvette and is a joy to drive on the freeway or a 2 lane through the mountains.
21+mpg. Freeway
A great looking set of wheels!Sep 02, 2013

I love this car all the way around. It handles nicely. I love the safety features and the sound system. My kids love the backseat entertainment system. I love the dvd navigation. The car is very comfortable for around town and on long trips. Very dependable, with little repair costs, just regular maintenance. Acceleration is second to none with the V8...lots of power!Jan 16, 2013

The two SRX I have owned, a 2004 and now this 2007 were both good cars. The 2007 has been trouble free for 67,000 miles. It is a Cadillac so if you need work done it can be expensive. I liked the comfort and leg room and the overall performance. Style is getting a little old but still fine. Gas milage is 18.8 average all driving and I don't baby it.Jan 07, 2013

We liked this car so much we bought another one. The Northstar V8 provides all the power you'll need, even though this is a heavy car. If you're looking for one, make sure you buy the V8 / AWD version if you can find one. Nov 18, 2012

I love all the bells and whistles on this car: from the side mirrors that go down in reverse, to the garage door opener built into the sunshade. My granddaughter loves the sunroof that goes open all the way back to her back seat and the separate DVD players in each headrest. One of my other favorites is the automatic back seat with a touch of a button, no more broken nails! This car is extremely woman friendly and convenient!Sep 13, 2012

This was the answer to needing a larger car for a family that is growing! Having
two children that are getting taller made it necessary to replace my Jeep Patriot
with something that could offer the kids more room. The really cool thing is that
the SRX handles really well (Corvette like...)which make it fun for Dad to drive.
I was really lucky to find this 8 year old car that is in showroom condition with
only 34,000 miles. This is my second Cadillac and I doubt that I will deviate
away from Cadillacs again based on the quality of this car. I just won't be the
first owner any future ones that end up in my garage. They are great used
cars for the money when you find a good one!Apr 25, 2012

The wife likes it so much, I'll replace it with a newer one with low miles. Handles like a sedan (much better than my former Seville) and gets good mileage. Plenty of room for taking trips. The Pioneer voice activated Nav/DVD system is awesome. Has been very trouble free.Mar 13, 2011

Since 2004, I have always wanted to own a Cadillac SRX. I
waited for the 2010 introduction and was disappointed with it's
small size. I have been looking for a 2009 with all of the toys
and finally found one at Less Standford Cadillac. I am retired
and hope to really enjoy this excellant vehicle. Having had the
SRX for almost a month. I am very satisfied. It is more then I
expected, performance, quality and appearance is top notch. Dec 26, 2009

This car handles beautifully, and it's so very luxurious and comfortable.
I'm getting an average of 13.3 miles per gallon...no, not terrific. :-) Still, I really enjoy driving my SRX even if it is bigger than any other car I've ever had.Dec 20, 2008

A smooth, luxurious ride with all the amenities. Extra seat in the back to allow for two more passengers can be folded away as trunk space. Love that is comes with OnStar. Jun 23, 2008
