I really love the truck when I get in and close the door You can tell it’s built strong super comfortable and everything is rite there the ride is smooth the Deramax has plenty of power with the Allison automatic transmission shifts smooth the GMC Sierra 2500 is a amazing truck I would buy another one with out a doubt Thank You Michael Mar 05, 2024

Love the GMC Sierra 2500HD, I had an 2005 and was so impressed with the “ Bullet proof” Drive train that I put 250k miles on with no major issues that I wanted another. I found a Super Clean 2013 GMC Sierra 2500 HD SLT on Cargurus at a great price the truck has no rust on it and the exterior and interior are almost like new. The 170K miles don’t bother me a bit as I know I will get 300k + miles out of this truck. With the 360 Horse 6.0, the 6 speed Transmission and the 3:73:1 axle ratio. This truck gets 2 more mile per gallon than the 2005 with 12 in town and 16 on the highway. This truck rides and drives as new with 170k on the ticker. Absolute LOVE ❤️ this truck and Cargurus has definitely been the best tool I have found to find quality used vehicles and research what the pricing in the market is and what is a good deal.Jul 02, 2022

The truck looked good from a distance. But up close the frame was fully rusted out. And the owners of the dealer just took a can of spray paint and tried to hide anything. No prep work went into painting, no masking, no sanding, they didn’t even bother to clean the first off. Apr 07, 2020

Tows great, with plenty of power. All buttons and functions are useful and easy to use. Decent ride for such a long truck. The gas mileage is not bad for being a truck. There is plenty of cargo room both inside and out!Feb 09, 2015

Ride is comfortable. Interior is great for pickup truck. Plenty of leg room in back and front seats. Powerful 6.0L Engine has plenty of pull for anything you can put behind a 2500. Excellent tow capibilities with integrated brake system.Feb 18, 2014

This truck is just right for working in comfort. Although it doesn't have leather, it feels great and rides great. The automatic climate control is great for those hot summer days and cold winter nights. Remote start to top it all off. Nov 12, 2013

best built truck in america, 10.9mpg's, can't get it to 11mpg, 8'6" long bed high rails, 20" chrome rims, nitto mud grappler low pro tires, 385HP-617lb. ft. tq, steering wheel hand controls, tows 8 tons easy, summit white paint, beats most small cars in a race, top speed of 97Aug 12, 2009

I have had my '08 2500HD Extended Cab (6.0L gas V8, 4x4) for almost two years now, and have driven it nearly 27K miles. This is the first truck I've owned that I have no desire to get rid of. The 2500HD provides a great combination of performance, comfort, capability, and quality, all for a price that is less than its major competitors.
The best features of the 2500HD are:
--Power. Even with the gas V8, you are pressed back in the seat when you step on it. This power is valuable when towing. I tow a 5,000 lb. trailer from time to time, which is a breeze for this truck to handle.
--Comfort. The seats, driving position, and ride are excellent for long rides. You sit high up, and the low dashboard provides a great view out. All interior controls and displays are attractive and easy to use. The front seats have multiple adjustments and the cloth fabric is soft with support in the right areas. And the stock sound system pumps out the music with great sound quality.
--Value. The 2500HD I bought was almost $10,000 cheaper than a Ford Super Duty with similar options. And to top it off, gas mileage even with the gas V8 has been pretty amazing for a 3/4 ton truck. With the cruise control set at 72 mph, I average 17 mpg on the interstate. On rural roads with speeds around 55-60, I even hit 18 mpg once. On the flip side, around town, in stop and go traffic, economy drops significantly to around 11-12.Jul 22, 2009

This truck serves a great purpose as being a work truck for around the stables. Hauling the horse trailer and heavy loads in the box is easy for this truck. As a family type vehicle, forget it. Not the kind of vehicle for blitzing around in or the commute to town everyday. Jan 10, 2008
