So far so good! Very enjoyable driving the 2015 X1. Today I picked up a queen bed frame and it fit in the back. Drove into the city for an event and parking on the street was a breeze. Excellent headlights. It’s just slightly smaller than my former car, a 2007 RAV4, but so much of an upgrade in terms of style, comfort, luxury, and fun. There really isn’t a comparable car out there in terms of size and versatility. I also drove an Audi Q3 and hated it. The Honda HRV lacked luxury and features the BMW has. Mercedes GLA wasn’t as peppy. The panorama moonroof is awesome. Fantastic stereo. Only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is this one doesn’t have the iDrive system. Would recommend buying one that has it. But I can live without it since I’ve never had a car with that type of system. I bought this car with only 32k miles so hopefully regular maintenance will keep it going for a long time. Sep 20, 2023

Perfect car, super CLEAN, drives great.. very reasonable value and seller offers a generous warranty. ONLY the insurance rate and my stature keeps me from purchasing this car.Sep 18, 2023

The X-1 is not large enough for me and lacks some luxury features I would want in a BMW SUV.Dec 06, 2022

Good value for the amount of features on the vehicle. Not a lot of leg room for rear seat passengers. Nov 20, 2022

Entry level BMW on a Mini Cooper Frame. Made with a lot of cheap plastic inside the engine bay, interior, and throughout the exterior. Doesnt ride smooth like a BMW should. Doesnt take bumps very well. It has plenty of power, but the ride is nothing like the X3, X5, and other higher end BMWS. But that is to be expected from their entry level vehicle. The seats are not very comfortable. The back seats are horrible and very short. They might suffice for a small child, but not an adult. The electronics are very outdated. older technology. Not to mention, it doesnt even offer Android Auto...cmon BMW, get with the times. All in all, the car has plenty of pep and is sort of sporty and not bad to drive. I also like the classic BMW look of the car, but the styling has not really kept up with more modern styles. At a less excessive price point I would feel much better about the value, but unfortunately, this car is way over-priced for what you get. There are many better options out there for the same money that will bring you a lot more bang for your buck!Nov 01, 2022

Low mileage made this car a great value, especially due to the auto shortage. It’s in tremendous condition. Dec 21, 2021

Nimble, good feel for the road, excellent front vision, rather spacious. A bit of engine/road noise and the run flat tires create a harsh ride. As a long time BMW owner who now needs to transport grandkids I love the X1. Apr 30, 2021

This was my wife’s car and she loved it. The look, the size, the utility. This came equipped with tech package and it’s now a must have feature; especially heads up navigation. She has just ordered the same car as a 2021 model and we look forward to Apple Car Play. Apr 22, 2021

It is not for everyone, but it checked all of the boxes for me. It is basically a slightly more useful version of the hot hatch. The extra cargo space is a plus over vehicles like the VW GTI. The taller profile allows older people with creaking joints easier ingress and egress. The all-wheel xdrive model is quite good in snow, so in Utah it is a good ski car. And it is shorter than the more usual sized SUVs making loading things on a roof rack easier. Add to that fun driving dynamics and this is a great car for me. On the other hand, if you need to haul people long distances in the back seat you probably want the current generation X1 or X3 or a competitor. If good feedback from the steering wheel feels
heavy to you, you may want to look elsewhere (including the new X1 that lacks some road feel but still steers very precisely). One last thing, this generation has many of the BMW quirks that seem to be going away in the newer models. It takes some getting used to how to set the cruise control, for example, or how to navigate the menus on the iDrive tech.Oct 10, 2020

I’m still learning how the car works. I went from a G37 Infiniti to the BMW X1 and I was concerned about the difference in power. No need to worry. The X1 has a turbo and plenty enough pick up and go. It’s a comfortable driving car, and plenty big enough to suit my needs. Jul 29, 2020

Listen, the X1 is a great choice because of its safety ratings, reliability, gas efficiency (on ECO pro) and the quality of the drive. It actually has surprisingly good space and foldable seats for when you need to put stuff in the back, (my wife and I bought some furniture and we’re able to put a sofa in there). Also a 12 ft Christmas tree on a separate occasion, granted boxed, but even on the box it was big lol. To not write too much you cannot go wrong with one of these. Nice and spacious, and smooth drive overall. If you get one with the Harmon/Kardon sound system even better! And of course the premium package with the technology package with the bigger screen is the way to go. Up to date system for easy navigation, AppleCar play , full Bluetooth, also Spotify connect that shows full album artwork and everything making it cool and easy, this also works for Apple Music users. Listen, as long as you get a good one (not a lemon, salvage or reconstructed one) you will love the BMW X1 for sure.May 15, 2020

Each of the packages included in I use on a daily basis. The cold Weather Package, Premium Package, Technology Package, Navigation, etc all a must.
Full Maintenance Warranty is a huge plus to owning a new BMW! Free car washes, oil changes and all routine maintenance. Sunroof is fantastic also.May 01, 2015
