I put 32k miles on in a year and a half. Only had to replace the muffler, and driver's side door latch seized shut (not an easy fix), on this 20 year old car. Otherwise a reliable car. Much quieter and smoother ride compared to what I am used to, but not as lively and fun either.Jul 14, 2010

One of the least expensive coupes to have pop-
up headlights. The double wishbone suspension
made this a great handling car, and the Honda
4cyl. engine got better than average performance
and gas milage. Very reliable, with excellent fit
and finish.Jan 13, 2010

If I had it like 100,000 kms ago it would not have been so bad.
pretty good get up and go but not as much at highway
speeds. It looks decent when its nice and clean but its black so
it gets dirty fast. 40mpg so im not complaining.Oct 15, 2009

i bought mine for $500 even. I couldn't believe how much car I got for my money! It's ridiculous! The car runs perfect. All I had to do was put a new muffler in and I'm good. shoot..
There's hardly anything else to add to that.Sep 02, 2009

It was a good car, quality built, good acceleration, good performance for the year of the car, cheap to run and maintain, lots of parts in the junk yard and it was a blast to drive. Didn't need any repairs. Jun 16, 2009

very dependable. Moderately good gas mileage and decent performance. definitely a car to buy when looking for a commuter. It can be fun to drive if some minor suspension work is done and some larger wheels with lower profile tires. Apr 28, 2009

Gas Mileage -- Awesome!!!
Fun Factor -- Roomy, Heated Seats, Sunroof.
Build Quality -- Takes a while for it to rust.
Appearance -- Interior~ Wonderfully Comfy
Exterior~ Looks big
Costs -- Maintenance~ Easy to take care of.
Fun to drive.
2 doors are better then 4..
Even though we are having an extra addition to our family, it will still be roomy enough

for being a honda the gas milage isnt the best about 23 in the city, 2.2 L 4cyl. 5 spd tranny, for having a bad clutch it still scoots pretty well, head to head race with 2008 civic si coupe very even race. 213,000 miles very fun car to drive. all stock, well atleast for nowAug 13, 2008

The guy I bought this car from is a race car mechanic so the car has a custom racing style engine in it :) It may be old and not look like much, but she is a BEAST! She roars :)The ride is amazing. Her name is Hahnsette. Very reliable, great gas mileage, overall great car. Hondas really know how to make them last. My car has 168,000 and has many more to go. If you're ever looking for a great used car, Hondas will last you as long as you maintain them. Aug 07, 2008

Still performs admirably at 19yrs old. Its no rocket, but don't let the measly 98hp fool you. It only weighs 2600 (subtract x for rust) and cranks out 110lb-ft @ 3500rpm, so on the highway you've got pretty decent acceleration from 120-140 while staying in 5th.
Ride comfort is good, handles quite well minus the body roll.May 12, 2008

Good car for the price. Though it's underpowered and the gas milage isin't amazing in comparison to the horsepower. The Ford Taurus of the same year would be a better bet. Mar 14, 2008

This car was single-handedly the greatest car I've ever owned. Fast, loaded, EXCELLENT mileage, 30-35mpg on a good day. Big on the inside. Loaded, sunroof, power everything, cruise, 4-wheel disc 4-wheel anti-lock brakes, cruise, EVERYTHING!Mar 10, 2008

My Accord was Redondo Red with the Ivory interior. Great looking, even at 10 years old. Drove well, sipped gas. The rear window seal leaked intermittently though, and the engine could have used an extra 20 horsepower. Overall a great car though.Jan 14, 2008

Handled well for the year. Got pretty good gas mileage (between 24-27 mpg usually). Car did show it's wear and tear, but it was a commuter car. Dec 28, 2007
