The ford explorer is the vehicle I expected it to be. Comfortable spacious interior. Lots of options on the information display and fun to drive.

Great family SUV. Lots of cargo room and passenger comforts. Love the leather, roof rack and 4WD upgrades as well as SYNC and Bluetooth features. Drives nice, solid handling. Liked it so much, getting another one (2014-2015). Take one for a test drive!

This car has everything I was looking for in an SUV. The car is good value and is missing absolutely nothing.

The front cab is nice and roomy , the seats are very comfortable and it rides very well on the highway. The leg room in the back two rows is lacking and I dont understand why Ford puts the bench seat in the middle rather than the back. If you have to haul more than 3 people any kind of distance, its just not very comfortable. The blind spot feature is great and the back-up camera gives a great view as well. One thing I really have to adjust to is the gas tank on the passenger side. I dont understand that placement either. Overall, rather pleased with this vehicle.

I like everything about the Ford Explorer . My favorite is the technology , so far advanced compared to the competition . I read reviews on the MyFord touch that were negative . Maybe if you are like 80 years old and hate technology . If you are a tech head like me Ford is the only way to go ...

We bought this vehicle. The vehicle was a good value and it has all the features we wanted. Big enough to tote around our 4 dogs!

The 5th Gens aren’t too bad of an smaller SUV. Good for a small family or while your kids are small. but not so much for a bigger family or with bigger kids. Probably best for a family of 4. The 3rd row is good for 2 small kids and that’s about it. Gas mpg is okay but if you load it down on a trip, 17-18 hwy best. This is for the regular v6, none eco. Also when it’s loaded down, the power is okay at best. Not enough torque in my opinion. Expedition will be better for a bigger family and power. Just make sure to do regular oil changes on the PTU so it doesn’t blow up. Probably change out your internal water pump at 80-100K miles so it doesn’t leave you stranded or needing a new engine. Never had the exhaust coming into the vehicle issue though.
