2012 Hyundai Veloster Reviews, Pricing & Specs

Was great car from 35000mi-135000mi unfortunately none of the 5 shops I brought it to could diagnose the problem. If I kept it this last winter 2022 & into 2023 now, it wouldve been paid off however after reading some information online 2012s were known for a transmission issue & was told by others to avoid 2013s due to engine failures. I miss the styling, 43mpg, heated mirrors, & moonroof. If I find another theres a possibility I might get another one as my 1/1 Hyundai Veloster base 1.6L had less problems than my 1992 Geo Storm GSi 1.8L as that one was always in the shop.Apr 04, 2023

Performance: Really slow (I mean, about 7 seconds to 60 but still feels slow) but excellent handling (anti-roll bars front and rear) and great brakes Build Quality: Excellent, everything is really high quality (especially the leather bolstered cloth insert seats) except for the soft paint Appearance: Like nothing else on the road; I get stares and compliments wherever I go Cost of Ownership: Other than paying off the loan it's economical (getting 35 mpg), too new to tell yet though Fun Factor: This car is all about fun. The sliding glass panoramic roof and 450 watt sound system are amazing. The streaming bluetooth audio and calls are great, as is the fact that I can watch video on the touch screen from the USB port or the RCA cable. Also the ease of operation of all the controls make it fun and easy to drive.Feb 12, 2012
