What owners say
"Overall, drivers are quite fond of the 2009 Jeep Wrangler, appreciating its off-road capabilities, styling, and fun driving experience. Many love the classic Jeep feel and versatility for both everyday use and adventurous outings. However, some owners have raised concerns about performance issues, particularly in terms of speed and fuel economy. A few also noted mechanical repairs and maintenance needs that could be a drawback for potential buyers."
Drives smooth -I forget it has a soft top on it, it is so quiet. It is very stable, and easy to maneuver. The great looks of it are equal to the performance. Not a gas guzzler! No big deal not having power locks and windows, it is a Jeep!

August 25, 2009I've owned my wrangler for almost a year now and I wouldn't trade it for the world. I absolutely love it. It's so much fun to drive and awesome in the snow and sun. You couldn't ask for a better combination- suv and convertible.
May 21, 2012Best 4WD ever, coolest street cruising rock crawling beast. When stock can match any of the tough trucks, with some mods can do just about anything. Plus other jeepers wave to you, as you drive down the highway with a big smile on your face. Plus thier cheaper than Nissans and Toyotas.
August 26, 2009I will never own anything but a jeep. This is my 2nd wrangler. Had to sell my first one due to the birth of my daughter. I love the look and feel of this 09 4dr Wrangler. It is great for family trips with room and space. Wish the fuel economy was a bit better.
April 29, 2014A person in need of a jeep can not dislike this jeep, this machine will climb hills and it will hit the highways at 65+ mph after climbing those hills. It is comfortable to drive, handles great. Take the top off and the world is yours to explore.
January 13, 2015This vehicle is a great jeep. When you drive it down the street , you are going to get many complements about how nice it looks, specially if you have the top down and the doors off.. In addition, how easy is to drive, it handles very well, Furthermore, 0 repair cost , so far. the tires are relatively new. 4x4 is great in the snow.
August 6, 2014I have owned the Wrangler for a year now and love it. It is the best vehicle I have ever owned. I currently lease it because I wasn't sure how I would like it. When i'm done with this one I am going to for sure buy another one. The only thing that i am sort of not ok with is the performance. It isnt fast but hey its a Jeep.. Thats not what they are mean't for. It is the nicer model with the tow hooks, bigger wheels, 3 piece hard top, tow package, power package and it fits my needs perfectly.
November 9, 2009It's a jeep...need I say more. It has the classic styling and is an absolute beast off road. However, it's more than capable of being tamed for everyday driving and performs exceptionally well in the city. It's sharp turning radius makes it easy to park and maneuver in tight spaces. It does sit up high but not so high that it won't meet most height restrictions for drive thrus and parking garages. It lacks in torque but has plenty of horsepower. Best of all, Jeep finally gave the Wrangler a stereo loud enough to be heard over the loud noise of the cloth top fluttering in the wind. I love it!
