Currently have the v8 option (type 42) part of my collection but night and day difference between the v8 and v10 including the Lamborghini transmission housing . I like it but its not my daily driver, the exhaust could have been better from the factory and the interior a better quality. The steering wheel isnt as bad as the Ferrari California edition but its up there. The fuel mileage is sub par for other mid engine cars and if I were to choose the new corvette over the R8 it would be the R8 just because the quality build and how many were made vs the new corvette which has flooded the market here is South Florida.Now something I should have got when I purchased the car was the optional manual transmission and not the automatic, its a waste of the cars real power and hence another reason why i just let dust stack up and why i keep it on the floor instead of lifted of the ground.. #hurricaneIan you missed this one.Jun 06, 2023

It’s ok, lots of work needs to be done with interior. Had to change parts and numerous over spray inside of car. Missing parts, parts of radio is broken and exposed wires not explained why it’s there. Overall I still love the car, just need to put in some elbow grease! Lots of Elbow grease! Apr 22, 2022

drives great but abit too costly on road and parts its not for a everyday drive
but when you go out somewhere you will deffiently turn heads also nice on a
bendy road or track. it has amazing handling but would be great to to rethink the interior as the when you shift in 4th gear you will hit your drink and it will spill. other
then that i love it its 9 out of 10 as the perfect car would be cheaper in every

acceleration is very good. it is very easy to handle. no need repairs.

I love my car but i had to repair it once for the clutch well if you know what's a clutch...LOL but still it's a very good car to get fast speed and tell you a thing on the tracks put the pedal to the metal!!!

The Audi r8 V10 5.2 it's better than the V8 4.2. because the V10 has 2 cilinder in + and 100cc
I like the r s 6 but the r8 is amazing and beautiful...

The BEST Audi ever built! My new 4.2L R8 with a 6spd manual. A great car any day of the week. Drive it to a party, to the office,to the club, anywhere. Turns heads even in the best parts of town and I'll never get tired of that V8 wailing up past 8000 RPM. I'm glad the new M3 came out at the same time, they look so nice in the rear view mirror!
Very stable handling VERY confident at high speeds, faster than a Porsche 911 and better looking. I highly recommend this car to anyone who loves driving (very fast) as much as I do.Mar 13, 2009

Performance-Absolutely incredible...The 10-cylinder design is the perfect design for impressive top performance, mighty pulling power, and low weight. It rockets from 0-60 in 3.8 secs, and reaches 120 in 8.4.
Appearance-Elaborate design definitely stands out from the crowd, and also makes it look like a true supercar.

The Audi R8 is an engineering marvel. I adore everything about it. The performance is great as is the handling. It make due with 420 horsepower and the cost of ownership is considerably low. It's a joy to drive anytime and anywhere. The four wheel drive makes it even more practical.Oct 05, 2008
