Great car, wouldn't have any other one for my daily driver! I bought this little dime in March of 2012 with a wowing 22,000 miles on it, can you say fantastic for a 2005? I can, what a deal. In this last year I have racked up about 13,000 miles without a single repair. Maintenance is a must, but this car makes it super easy to keep the car in pristine condition while maintaining a modest budget. I am married, with no children which makes the tC & I the perfect combination.
May 13, 2013I love my car. The rear reclining seats were made to do so, because they wanted to market the Scion tC as a car to "socialize" in (and no, I don't mean hint-hint). I have a cold intake, sport muffler, exhaust system and ground effects on mine. I love it!
September 23, 2008I'll start with the positives of the tC. It looks fantastic and I get a lot of compliments for it. With the backseats folded down there is a surprisingly large amount of storage room in the back. The speaker system is also exceptional, the only complaint I have is that the bass can sometimes be annoyingly loud, especially to passengers in the back seat. On to the semi-cons. Performance is alright, nothing spectacular, but much better than your average car. It is fun to drive and accelerates and corners well, but not like a true sports car. The build quality is very good, I have no complaints about the materials and I have not had any problems with it's reliability. Gas mileage is average: I get around 23 mpg, mostly city driving.

August 31, 2009Takes 10psi of boost on stock internals like a champ! Built great, lacks some nicer features like power/heated seats, ride is a little noisey. Fun to drive, but cant beat AWD. Front wheel drive isnt the best for performance but for what it is, it does the job great.
August 10, 2009DONT WRECK IT. it will never be the same and if your suspension is messed up it will always be messed up. the performance of the car is bad ass i like the gas miliage
June 28, 2008I bought an '08 manual Scion TC. It has the rear lip spoiler and TRD exhaust. I love love love it!
November 7, 2007This car is sweet... its dead sexy. Got it for a show car about a year or so ago... so far the car has been flawless. Lots of aftermarket stuff for it. Worth every penny that i paid for it.
November 20, 2009Cost of Ownership: gas mileage is decent, maintenance is affordable. Performance: Handles the way a car should around curves and turns, braking is good, accelerates better/faster than sister toyotas. Appearance: Sporty, easy to modify. Build Quality: In 2 years of ownership I've only changed the oil when needed and I'm just now getting new tires and brakes. Fun Factor: It is fun to drive.
November 3, 2009I thought that this car had great speed and looked great. but it was too small for a tall guy like me. If i was a little bigger it would be a perfect car. great car for a first time buyer.
September 26, 2010i love my car, the only thing i dont like is that its front wheel drive, and non turbo. but at least one of those things can be changed very easily. i love also that its like a lego car, every thing u can imagine just pops off.. and u can get upgraded parts for it.(carbon fiber etc.) i also love the panaramic sunroof ( basicly a sunroof and a moon roof all in one) so the whole top of my car is glass.
