The most comfortable car I've ever driven or been in. That's the bottom line on this car. On the highway it's simply superb: a true magic carpet. On any other road, even rough ones, it also beats everything else I've ever experienced in this chapter. It makes you wanna drive over potholes just to see how well it copes with it. The drawback to all of this is, unfortunately, the complete lack of feedback from the controls, particularly the steering, which is completely numb. The all car makes you feel detached from the road. The same hidropneumatic suspension that keeps you comfortable the all time filters out any fell from the road, even when set in its Sport mode. It's not that the car doesn't handle well - it does, considering all the weight going about. You can actually drive it around quite aggressively without ever getting into any danger whatsoever - the ESP keeps, somewhat annoyingly, making sure of it. The 138hp engine is just up to the job of pulling this car but isn't particularly impressive, which isn't surprising considering the weight it has to go pulling around. I feel the automatic parking brake doesn't work as well as the one in my Renault Mégane for one reason: when you want to start moving, you don't! The car first squats a bit on its rear wheels, and only then does the parking brake get released. The hill-hold function, on the other hand, is really useful and works wonderfully. The steering wheel, with it's fixed center hub takes some getting used to. What I never got used to were the controls that are placed there. Some of them look too alike and don't really need to be there. The entertainment/information system isn't particularly good. It has plenty of features, but it isn't very appealing to use. Also, the center console is just cluttered with buttons. The famous Citröen directional headlamps don't really seem to make that much of difference, but the extra lights at each side that light up when you're turning do actually help.Jan 03, 2011

Year: 2009 Automatic 6-step gearbox 2000cc 136bhp motor Excclusive edition - almost full option Performance could be better, car is quite heavy for the engine. Great car to drive, the hydro-pneumatic suspension is a dream on the road. You're not driving, you're floatingMay 20, 2010

Best Executive Sedan, I've ever driven. Hydropneumatic suspension gives the smoothest drive possible. The engine is a bit underpowered but it's still enough. It comes with a very good set of standard features with a reasonable price tag, which makes the car a good buy. It also has 7 airbags which makes it very safe. The build quality of the car is also very good and overall the car feels German.Nov 16, 2009
