fun factor: fun to drive: only when accelerating
note: lots of toys (electric seats, touchscreen monitor, steering wheel
audio controls, etc), well made interior (soft touch dashboard, door
trim, etc) stupid fuel consumption (avg 16.5l/100km for a 2.5L

The turbo supplies lots of torque. The quality of the vehicle is excellent. The appearance is stylish in comparison with other SUV's. It is a very fun vehicle to drive and I would recommend it to any family man who enjoy the outdoors.Mar 08, 2011

I like the model and the quality of this car.This car is verycomfortable whether in off-road area or road area,The baggage is so spacious,The model is futuristic,and the engine is 2500cc,wheter it has big engine it not cost a lot for gasoline

it is the only 4x4 in its price range which doesz 0-60 in under 10 second it has a top speed of 124 mph like most 4x4s the only repair it needed was a bumper remoulding because a lady in a honda civic reversed into it has a nice exterior i'll admit there are nicer4x4s such as the mitsubishi outlander, the citroen c-crosser and the land rover freelander 2it is a diesel so it has reasonable fuel consumsion but it dosen't like being run round towns it downs fuel whilst in townits a 4x4 so it has not been thrashed but tiff needell seemed to be impressded by the handling when it was in 4x4 mode on a trackMay 19, 2010

awesome accleration....poor handling on curves,superior build quality....goes a decent mileage,maintenance is a lil expensive....good for offroading....,the appearance...interior is pretty good...and the exterior is tough...and xtrail is an awesome suv....but it could hv done better with a bigger wheel base...and a powerful engine..!! :pMay 08, 2010

great accelaration for a suv, gud high speed, great handling
not a single squeak ever in 3yrs, it even depends on how u drive
sexy looks, speacially with black colour on it
might hurt ur pocket costing u up from18 lacs to 24 lacs

Like everything about it. Drives nice. Looks good. I Don't like the Automatic, but It'll have to do for the time we have because in 3 years a new car. So only using the automatic till the next car i hope.Nov 28, 2009

Waste of good money ... havnt had good performance from it .. It is more of a mickey mouse 4WD
Too much money on petrol .. sucks it out rather quick compared to the sportivo..even though it is the same size engine.

nice to drive. handles well. metallic silver exterior with dark grey/black interior. 17 inch alloy mags. sunroof. chrome fittings/extras. roo damage to front at the moment. cant get fixed for 6 weeks. all in all very nice experence to driveSep 03, 2009

My bush baby is bush green, I can sneak up on elephants in the park. the 4x4 setting is optional with just a flick of the switch. There is ample storage space, with hot or cold venting in the cupholders to keep drinks warm or cold during those long journeys. The exterior was great, till "someone" closed the electric gate before we were out!!! She is still a bit bread shaped, but to be expected. She handles beautifully, I don't feel like I am driving a big car, not at all intimidating. A bit heavy on fuel, but then again, who isn't complaining these days! I drove this last year, not really my idea of fun but got me from A-B. very forgettable, the only bit i really remember was taking a mini round-a-bout (at low speed), seriously thought it would topple over!!
