What owners say
"Owners generally appreciate the 2007 Dodge Nitro for its spacious interior, comfortable ride, and stylish design. Many drivers highlight its good fuel economy and handling, making it suitable for family use and long journeys. However, there are concerns about the need for repairs at higher mileages and a few owners wish it had more power or features, like a V8."
Great car for a family. Lots of room and spacious navigation system is a big help. Sits high when driving. Great sound system. Gas is great if you drive it on the highway. Decent for city driving. Overall a good car
March 26, 2015The styling is much more aggressive than the Jeep Liberty twin. The room inside is decent for the size of the vehicle and I am looking forward to the part time 4WD this winter. The back has a flippable storage bin, but it doesn't seem too useful to me. Otherwise, a good vehicle for the money.
July 20, 2011performance was good it had it where it counted and it was built to last an all around fun vehicle to have owned and it always looked great cause that's how i've kept all my vehicles. although it was a little bit of a gas hog i wouldn't have traded it for the world

November 11, 2010Overall I like the Dodge nitro for its great look,as well as, its not engineering, keep up on the maintenance and youll never regret purchasing this SUV. Spacious enough for the entire family; drive& be amazed.
October 17, 2020the breaking is good and the acceleration are very good as well, on demand answers when you need it to. the gas milage is on hwy running at 65mph gets about 23 mpg which i think is great for a v6 with all kinds of good power and go. the only rattle we get is the roof rack and the rack is getting replaced when they built it it came with plastic bottom rails and they break easliy so they came out with some metal ones to replace them. i love the styling of the interior and the exterior but i love retro styling and stuff like that. maintance is really easy as long as u take care of your ride and keep it good. this car is very fun to drive love it
June 25, 2010this car gets great gas mileage for its size and great handling, has really good pickup. has heated seats plus in the winter and also has electric seats great for long trips when you get tired you can adjust the seat
May 25, 2010i love everything about my nitro but sometimes wish it had a v8 but even with the v6 it still gets up and goes when and if u need to pass and has great handling with the 20inch wheels and no body role around a sharp corner
September 21, 2009cargo slide is an awesome feature! fender flares can hide flaws--
May 10, 2022Handles great, needs major repairs at 122K , love the look and feel of this car. 11.1Km/Litre. Love to drive it, love the pull out cargo, Definitely a nice handling car. Would love to have the console altered in the front seat.
February 22, 2011chassis is not very good , bad tyres but excelent engine with the 2.8 diesel . The best way to enjoy this dodge is to tune it with the startech kit! With also a lowering kit -30mm eibach to have a better feeling on the road. This dodge is a good compromise between the price and the quality
