Bought it because it looked great. It is an amazing car. Accelerates fast but braking isn't the best. No repairs have been needed. Gas mileage runs about 30 miles pre gallon. This is a very fun car to drive and I want to get the new 2009 Maxima which is more sporty.
August 20, 2008I absolutely LOVE this car! I haven't had one problem out of it yet. The only thing that is lacking is gas mileage. However, I knew that it didn't get the best gas milage when I bought it. I have had no reason to take it to the shop, except to have the oil changed!

December 5, 2007Has needed repairs in the past but the appearance is great so is the comfort inside. Handling and breaks are good with a powerful engine that makes for a fun drive. It goes through fuel fast and you can find yourself speeding without realizing it. Overall great car, would definitely recommend it.
August 8, 2010engine has get up and go. the tranny has room to go in all gears with the slap shift six gears. just doesn't feel like a ricer even though its got all the guts to make one. more agressive body styling would have been appreciated for the pricing. handling not the greatest for the price. a little bit of vibrations at lower speeds.
February 20, 2010The maxima is awesome, I love mine. Great engine, drives and handles like a sports car. However, Nissan in general is notorious for some problems, such as transmissions and ABS systems. Some parts of the car are very difficult to maintain.
December 30, 2014Like everything from the engine type to the body style and how well the car handles. Very nice looking car. I don't think there is nothing that i don't really like about this car. Hope other maxima owners agree with me.
