This VW Phaeton is interesting. I bought 12. Still have 5. The chassis was used in other VW brands like Audi & Bentley. Today the car needs more and more attention. Bad plastic,, like the extremely brittle from bumper. Interior falls apart. Regulators fail. Belts wear. Etc. Many parts can break. It takes longer and longer to get parts. Don’t over pay for the Phaeton. Max $10k for the V8. $15k for the W12. You need to reserve $2-4k in repairs per year. Good luck Jun 12, 2021

Nothing about this car is junky. This is a serious car for serious people. It deserves to be well cared for. Parts are expensive because they are high quality and low volume. Buying one that has been neglected will be expensive to recondition back to fully functional status. But it will reward you with a car that is a dream to drive. They did not come with Bluetooth and that should be added.Jun 02, 2021

Great car with awesome features. Some models are above the car blue book value. Few cars with low milage, most above 100 k miles, that means maintance cost are needed soon. pjr Houston, TXMar 01, 2021
