The Mitsubishi Pajero 3.2 Liter diesel engine'd SUV is an incredible workhorse. It has style, practicality and best of all 99% of reliability. The car physically seems to look very nice but there is a very big downside to the performance. especially of the 3.2 liter diesel which just isn't powerful enough to get you going like a rocket. Its just not enough and the car's acceleration and top speed are affected very much by the lack of power. Nevertheless when you are driving an SUV it never really matters how fast it is as long as it is a full scale off-roader that also stands out very much in the crowd of cars surrounding it. In terms of fun factor it isn't the most exciting car in the world especially with giant amounts of under steer to spare and huge body rolls but good enough to make you love it! The interior of the car particularly on the GDI-Highline trim looks spectacular. Something that you would never get in the alternative Nissan Pathfinder and Toyota Land Cruiser Prado is the awesome looking partly "wooden" steering wheel and with the optional beige leather everything blends in very nicely. Just like both of its opponents Pajero has a bench-like third row of seats which allow you to drive six children at the same time (excluding the driver) to a football training. Build Quality is what makes this car stand out. Both the petrol and the diesel engine's are probably one of the most reliable engines to be put in to an SUV ever. One the reliability of the outer body on places such as the front/rare bumpers door panels side skirts seems to fall quite a bit. The problem is that scratches tend to appear from nowhere in the most unexpected places all around the car. in conclusion the "Paj" is a great SUV. especially if you are looking for something that is in the price range with the Pathfinder and Land Cruiser Prado. yes! It is slow!! But it is what it is and it does what it is best at+more. Nov 18, 2008
