My Ford Fiesta Ghia 1.4 tdci was a fantastic car. I had it brand new. This car was lovely to drive, it looked quite good, it was very very cheap to run-I used to put £20 diesel in a month and it cost me £50 to tax it for a year! Jul 22, 2009

Its a reali fun car to drive its cheap to run. Its not an ugly car and i like the interior appearance. It is also very cheap to run and good fuel consumption for a 1.6. Fast then most of it competition.May 25, 2009

Performance: well, it has a quite good acceleration, it has a 68 BHP 1.4 TDCi engine and a weight of approx. 1 ton, the braking part is also quite good but not exactly what you want on a racetrack but it handles very well.
Build Quality: it has an overall good quality on both interior and exterior parts but when you speed over 75 mph some strange noises come from the rear.
Appearance: it has a good look both from the inside and the outside, but the dashboard is a bit old and made of "old" plastic material.
Cost of Ownership: this ride costed around 10.000 USD, bought at a second-hand dealer.
The Fiesta is a fun car to drive, but not the most exciting car.

Ended up in garage three times in 1 year for mechanical problems. 1.4.zetec, quite resonable for 1st car. Ive been in more comfortable but no complaints. 2 yrs old at time 5k with 11k milage. Appearance is very appealing and is why i purchased a mk6 fiesta. I modified the body work with full riot kit, 17'' alloys, front and rear morreta lights, blue neons, tints. Full entertainment system including tv's and boot install. Finished product was sweet!!! until it got stolen and wrote off by my own blooded cousin. Guted!Oct 22, 2008

Bought it to replace old 1100cc Fiesta.Needed something to get me to and from work.
Very impressed by the handling and 1400cc engine.Wife says it is too noisey so I've got a result there cos she doesn't travel with me. Quite reasonable on fuel which is good in the present climateSep 01, 2008

My First Car. Absolutely loved everything about this car. Dead easy to drive, only have to put your foot down slightly to get going. Interior was Blue and Black which looked good with the exterior being all black including the 17" Fox racign wheels. Only 24500 miles, shame I wrote it off!Aug 15, 2008

It's a great car, the performance could be better, would have liked more kilowatts and torque. The braking and handling is excellent, especially in the wet. The Trend trim adds front spotlights, 17" mags and a boot spoiler which rounds off the car. I got about 540km on a tank of petrol in traffic driving which is not to bad considering it has a 45 litre tankAug 01, 2008

The car in general is sound. Braking is what you would expect from a Ford, Handling is good and it sticks well in corners. Only downfactor is that the Auto does not suit the 1.4 Engine. I think would be a lot better in a bigger engine though. No squeaks or rattles and no repairs needed other than 1 puncture! interior and exterior are not the best but then again I have seen a lot worse. MPG is about 42, Little mainntenance required.Jul 06, 2008

1.4 tdci : moteur peugeot peu puissant mais avec une boite bien mieux étagée que sur les 206. Amplement suffisant pour un usage quotiden. Finition pas terrible.Mar 29, 2008

Loved it, once kitted out with a few extras.
Downside was the small engine in it.Feb 11, 2008

This is more fun than any 1.25 liter car you can get right now on the market. the 75 horsepower is not enough to even make the chassis complain but it's sure enough to put a smile on your face every time you go round a corner. Ford style. Now a bit old compared to others in the same league of cars, but, I'd still reccomend it for driving enthusiasts that can't afford anything more pricey.
... and... LOOK at it! It's not bad lookingJan 23, 2008
