One of the greatest cheap coupes ever built...... Acura bring something like this back in a Hybrid or All Electric format with a manual tranny. It would sell like HOT CAKES!!!!Nov 14, 2020

This is great daily driver,great gas milage,and it has his and hers sport shifter,it has give me no trouble and is very dependable,its security system is a little sensitive but it was well worth the money.Apr 10, 2013

Nothing bad about this car.. it handles well and shreds around corners. Handling is superior to most vehicles that I've driven. Insurance is inexpensive and is easy to maintain. Fun car to drive and work on so everyone else should REX it up and enjoy!Oct 31, 2010

I love the car it has good suspension, and great looks. Has plenty of mods out for it and is pretty easy to work on. The interior is also quite good for a sports car and the interior lights are red which is pretty cool. And it also has no tractoion control which is cool. And gets great mileage 35 HWY MPG!Apr 21, 2010

All around good car. Quick, light, and good handling. Comfortable. I upgraded the suspension a little bit and also upgraded audio. Not a lot of room for speakers or anything but it sounds good once it is inside the vehicle.Jan 22, 2010

The car is worthwhile whether as a daily commuter of
if you are building for a weekend racer. The only
downside if cost of insurance and modification but the
car can be pushed farther than one would expect. I'd

Good acceleration, and pretty good suspension, even for the base model. The Vtec really helps both with power and gas mileage. Barely uses any gas, and it's decently sporty. Overall the car is perfect for what it was made for.Nov 18, 2009

Great motor and transmission. The McPherson strut is just inferior to the older SLA suspension which happen to be the biggest downfall of the car. It has the turning radius of a naval vesil. Suspension it just to soft for a "sport tuned" suspension and it handles average at best. Interior is nice, but not high quality. Seats ripped. Steering wheel wore down. Some problems with the windows. Hatch leaks. Gas mileage is good,I average around 33-34 overall. Only problem is it takes premium and synthetic oil because of the high compression high-revving engine. It is fun to drive on weekends. Parts are still expensive for the car despite it being almost 8 years old. Get a GSR or an ITR instead.Nov 06, 2009

Performance- acceleration is not that good, there is somewhat of a lag. For build, come on, all Hondas are tough, but I did have trouble with the headlight for a while. I love the appearance, both interior and exterior. Cost of ownership is perfect for any college kid, it runs good on gas and I rarely bring it in for maintenance. This car is very fun to drive. It handles like a dream, just point the car where ever you want and it goes there. Build quality is very strong, nothing really feels cheap. My only complaint is the bass from the bose stereo. It has a sub in it from the factory but its a joke.Aug 14, 2009

Great short throw shifter. Fast for a 4 cyl. Redlines
at 8k RPMs! Hugs the road well. Great car for
under 20k. When u hit the powerband it lunges
forward. Loaded with all the options. Great

Fun car. Great all around. Great balance of ride, performance and sportiness. The steering is precise and provides great feedback. The transmission is crisp and fast. Handling is crisp but not harsh. Smooth engine. the VTEC provides great response throughout the entire RPM range.Feb 08, 2009

A fun car to own and drive, great on gas, decent on performance, and has much more room on the inside with the fastback design than most any coupe with standard trunk around. Its a Honda, so build quality and reliability are integral.Dec 22, 2008

Simple mods make this car night/day in performance. This car has a little bit of performance, comfort, luxury, and anything else you can think of for the price. I love this car inside and out. FWD is its only flaw in my opinion, but even then, it's not a big deal for me since I don't drag race with it. A great daily driver. Jul 17, 2008

Fantastic little sports coupe. Plenty of standard features that are options on more expensive cars.
Handling is superb, regardless of the FWD layout.
Simple clean good looks. No racy, spoilers, splitters, or exaggerated lines.
Effortless acceleration in any gear. VTEC is amazing... winding the car up in the lower gears is hard to resist.
Beautiful interior, excellent driving position, well bolstered sport seats.
Six speed transmission is a pleasure to use.
Hatchback design makes this/that more practical.

I was actually looking at a Jeep when i saw this on the lot. Bought it used and it has been a great car. Corners well and picks up speed very quickly. Great car over all, no major repairs have been necessary since I got it three years ago.Mar 18, 2008
