This was an AMAZING car. It was the one car I have owned that I fell in love with at first sight! It had style by the bucketload, it turned heads when I drove past people in the street, and it ran like "sugar off a shovel"! I traded it in for the Volksvagen Jetta I now own because it was too small for anyone apart from me, a small passenger and a couple of people with no legs (the back seat was useless for carrying passengers!)

Ace drive for the money. Handles well in all conditions; especially with the Quattro drive.

Little bit of turbo lag, but after it kicks in will really rip. brakes good. Handles AMAZING! good build quality lots of nice little luxeries for its year. 25 mpg average, and requires 91 octane fuel. Overall good little car if you dont need to take much with you.

Don't let anyone tell you an Audi is reliable. Broken switches, faulty indicators three times, broken heated seat switches twice, creaking suspension, the list goes on. Looks nice, dull as dishwater to drive. The 1.8 engine does not have enough torque for such a heavy car, so it doesn't feel like it has 225bhp.

Enjoy the handling, have summer performance tires on it, make a difference. Nice to put the top down on a nice day. Gets good fuel mileage for a fun car. Could use a little more power, but turbo is fun.

Loved everything, disliked nothing. Reliable starting, handling. Exhaust has a great sound/growl when accelerating. Chose FWD because I do not drive it in winter so quattro wasn't necessary. Hard tonneau cover also included with car as well as valet key.

very smooth transmission, nice steering feel, taught suspension. automatic tranny in manual mode was interesting because of the seemingly backwards shifter.

Great car! Stylish, fast and fun! It’s costly to service but a 21 year old car with over 100000 miles on it will be. Love this car!

Oh, where to start. Love my 2002 TT ALMS! Striking design that influenced just about every car that came after it. Amazing performance and fuel economy from a tiny 1.8 liter engine. It has an incredible interior, lipstick-red leather with beautifully crafted aluminum accents. I keep it in pristine condition, it looks just like the day we bought it.

Even though it’s the 1.8L version it’s still an excellent classic sports car. I appreciate the AWD (even though it’s only AWD whenever the car needs extra traction)The gearbox feels great and the turbo whine is loud when you put your foot down. If you’re a first time sports car owner I would recommend the TT. Just know you’ll probably be the smallest car on the road.

Great, fun little car. True sports car look/feel, great handling and solid performance. Only know is way too many "goofy" rapairs like glove box mechanism ~$800, automatic window ~$300. horn ~250, who builds a car where a horn goes out?? Glove box? Audi needs to 1: Improve quality of this type of component, 2. Make things repairable at earthly prices.

I just loved the original TT from the first I saw it on the road. Such a beautiful design. With the high belt line and low height it was so different from anything else on the road. Performance was so so, even with the top of the line 2.0 litre turbo 225hp version. Audi later came out with a higher power naturally aspirated model that eclipsed the 225, and we had one of those for a short time, too, but even that left something to be desired in terms of power and acceleration. But this car was art on wheels, and it was compact and super fun to drive on twisty country roads. I miss this car more than any I have ever owned, even more than the S4...although I do really miss the hp in the S. Maybe some day I'll own another TT... the new S or better yet the coming RS trim would be nice!

Great car, feels solid, not so good if your tall

beautiful car inside and out - leather interior to die for - with heated seats and lots of chrome/steel going on - the most awesome car ever created, you can also move house with it (contents of a flat went in the back of this two seater) how bizzare!!

Really fun car to drive. Great maneuverability. Easy to park. Great looks. Comfortable. Quattro is great in wet, snow or icy conditions. The six speed manual gearbox is easy to shift after you figure out to press down on the shifter for reverse.

I would keep it forever if it would last that long.

Nice handling but back seats are only for design ... nobody can stay in the back :), very reliable, allways gas hungry but with a lot of resources and different mods that you may apply. Alot of chiptuning offers, it supports big wheels, quality materials

Not too much power, not too much anything. Build quality is quite weak, but you can get a fun car out of it with some minor modifications.

Good design, catchy...love the all-wheel drive excellent handling! Interior and exterior are both great quality. Cost of ownership is a little high since the dealership kills you on all parts. Some parts are available through the after market but not most. It is definitely a fun car to drive and although I bought it as a winter car... I may plan to keep it for longer.
