Overall this is a great family car, never let's you down. Decent cargo room, ample space for the rear seat passenger. If maintained regularly, it runs like a charm. For me it is just not much fun to drive because it has an automatic transmission, I prefer a manual. Jun 12, 2014

I got my Alero from my dad when he got a new car. I have driven it for 5 years now and I have only had to put in a new alternator in it and it has over 200,000 miles. It doesn't have much power under the hood but the fuel economy is pretty good, average about 25mpg. Jul 28, 2012

not a bad little car , but not as good as my second car , its got some flaws but most cars do , maybe its just my preference on cars or maybe its actually not justt me but , the motor is strong only trouble with that is that its a v6 and take a good chunk of change for gas Apr 10, 2012
