I like the Mazda Millenia. I have Mazda Millenia 2002 with 295,000 miles. However, there are problems with the 2001 and 2002 Mazda Millenia and buying a 2002 Mazda Millenia is risky. First, the 2001 Mazda Millenia is twenty (20) years old; second, it has a low total loss value, less than three thousand dollars; third, there are no aftermarket parts for a 2001 Mazda Millenia, which means that replacement parts will be used parts -- try finding them; fourth, the car is sitting in the parking lot, declining by its lack of use; fifth, therefore, the price of $7,500 is exorbitant; sixth, this is a high-maintenance vehicle, as it requires the changing of the timing belt every one hundred thousand miles; seventh, I replaced the transmission of my Mazda Millenia 2002 after 200,000 miles; the cost for a remanufactured transmission was three thousand five hundred dollars; eighth, the plastic and rubber parts fail with age . Consequently, the 2001 Mazda Millenia is a nice car that is ready metaphorically to pass to a better life. For $7,500, this is a foolish purchase. Feb 10, 2021

This is another car I really miss, but had to part with because it was too small. See, you couldn't put a rear- facing car seat in the middle of the back with another car seat -- there just wasn't enough room side-to-side, and the rear-facing seat wouldn't fit behind one of the front seats. Performance was midling, it only had a small 2.5L V6, but the car was built like a bank vault, was gorgeous, and handled and drove like a dream. This was not the first, nor last, car that became a casualty due to family needs.Aug 17, 2009
