Nasty Color the Kia Rio was bright yellow, cheap, and reliable. I drove him from TX to NY and back with zero trouble. Cold A/C in the summer, warm heater in the winter, and a fantastic warranty. Kias are not "sexy." But having money leftover after making your payments is sexy.

A lot of so called road tests are very biased against Kia - most people can’t afford the expensive cars Clarkson crows over so as a Kia owner I would advise anyone to go and make their own mind up you wont be disappointed. The Magentis is a great value for the money car as well second-hand.

July 18, 2009Looks infinitely better with Tint, Rear Spoiler, Alloy Wheels and Xenon Lights. Plastic interior, things rattle sometimes. And can't expect too much performance from a car that cost $16000 (AUS).
June 27, 2008I have a 2001 Kia Rio; it would be a great little car if it worked properly. It lacks power on take off but once you get going it works great. I'm not really keen on the color of the car but I'm very please with the aerodynamics. It's small body makes it easy on gas and it handles very well, even in the winter months.
