Like the reliability and fuel efficiency. There's very little to dislike. It can fit into almost any parking space. It has never had any maintenance problems. If you do the oil changes and preventative maintenance that is recommended this car can last forever. My mechanic says my Honda Civic could go to 250K miles.Nov 14, 2014

I took my driver's test in this car, I drove this car EVERYWHERE.
I currently have 237,000 miles on my 2001 Honda Civic EX Coupe. We bought it new when I was 17 and it has out performed every other car in our family. This vehicle hasn't need any out-of-the-ordinary repairs and with regular maintenance has continued to run and run and run like a dream. Who knew we would get this many miles out of a car that cost just 17,000!?
Fuel Economy has been great and it averages 34 across the board when I do the math by hand. Sometimes I can get a little more than that out of it if I'm doing just Highway miles. I still trust this car to drive me anywhere.
Like any relationship there have been ups and downs, I've been committed to the end just to consider selling the next week. Overall, my civic has been a great car and when it's finally done I'm sure the replacement will be yet another Honda Civic.

performance is great. the handling is tops and brakes keep for a long time... acceleration is good, stock power not so great, but the aftermarket modifications available seem endless.
build quality is awesome.
appearance is nice, not the sleekest car out there, but it has a cool look to it. interior is exactly what it is supposed to be: the interior of a car.
cost of ownership could not be more economical! very fuel efficent, low cost to maintain, low cost manufacturers parts as well as aftermarket parts, great insurance rates, great financing rates (from what i remember, mine is paid off!) this was my first car and i still have it (it is on loan to my sister while her car gets repaired) in addition to my other car...

Were Honda Engineers drunk when they designed the Front seats folding
mechanisms ????
Cargo looks so big but yet nothing ever fits in it because of the poor frame design.
Engine is still a good reliable honda tough, very though and still running well at

Performance= bad acceleration, good handling, ok braking but runs good on VTEC woooh lol
Build Quality= i had to repair some rattling didnt cost much though
Appearance= exterior is nice with proper lip kit and touch ups, interior needs leather seats

Typical maintenance and repairs, no major problems as of 150000 miles. Had a tie rod loosen that ate my front tires.... still gets 40mpg 5 speed. small and slow but thats what you pay for with good mileage. solid little car.Jun 03, 2010

i think my car is the best it has over 350 horses and beet a mustang camaro anything you put up it can bet...almost anything. has 400ft lb torque. the engine is a b20 with a cr4 turbo with 10 pounds on it. bbs racing mags with disk brakes on all for tires. the tires are low profile toyos. Performance - bad acceleration but excellent braking power, nice look
in my area they are very expensive got it for 7000$ for 3000$ more i can get a bmw.

Fuel Efficient, very reliable, easy to maintain, all the features
that anyone would need. The Honda Civic is by far the best
car that you could purchase either new or used. One of the
best things about it is that it is a Honda! The best engine and
arguably the best car manufacturer in the world!
Update: At 135000 miles now it is still running strong with no repairs needed.

Acceleration was horrible, almost no power what so ever
before i started making modifications to it. was constantly

Extremely economical, 35 mpg avg. Fast when it needs to be. Being a stick shift its very fun to drive. Easy to maintain. It costs about 20 bucks every 3 months if you change own oil.

i like that it is a manual. don't like that it has hub
caps, doesn't have any performance mods or body

Not a bad car if you don't care about performance and
just want a really reliable car. However, definitely not
the car for me. The car is awesome on gas (approx.
35 mpg) but is not very fun to drive. The appearance
is not terrible, but overall, its just not really my type of
car. Again, it is great if you want reliability and gas

reminds me of my old high school days... it was decently quick but what i liked about it is how i can get around tight spots or park in small parking spaces. the braking wasn't amazing but you get used to it. i changed my rims and taillights and plus had some tints.

Performance - low torque, quick but its a civic, good handling, solid feel, and fun to drive.
Build Quality - Engine and drivetrain very well built, at 100K and have had no major repairs
Appearance - interior a bit plasticy, but has few rattles. Exterior is Silver and still looks good
Cost of Ownership - VERY CHEAP, Summer Gas Mileage 35-42 mpg, Winter Gas Mileage 30-35 mpg, low maintenance

This is my thirth car and I think it is the best one I've had ever, I had aan opel chevy and astra, two pieces of crap, the honda civic is a very good performance vehicle, goodlooking but only one defect, the locks use fail with the regular use, it takes between 3 or 4 years to have this problem.Jul 31, 2008

The Civic Copue may not have a tuned suspension or the power of some cars, however, the Civic Coupe still is a nice car with a dash of mediocre fun. It's armed with plenty of standard equipment and Honda really improved on the look of the '01 Coupe. Feb 06, 2008
