Its a very economical car and it is not very expensive to the average person. The Car is good looking and i do not know why chrysler decided to stop making this car and make less cool cars. Its coolDec 31, 2009

y Neon was a 1995 Plymouth Highline Coupe
with a 132hp SOHC 4 cylinder engine,
manufactured 21 December 1994; one of 1,020
made (that info courtesy of Jonathan
Altschul and Greg Smith of Chrysler). Mr.
Neon is loaded with almost every option
available at time of production minus the

Was sort of rushed into buying this car because we really
needed one... its my first car, and being so, was a real lesson
for me. I will avoid buying Chrysler or Dodge in the future,
car needs repairs often... As cars go, its the runt of the litter.Jul 27, 2009

* Performance- acceleration its quick, braking is average for a small car, handling is good.
* Build Quality- good shape, but you can here a lot of whats going on out side not much sound proofing.
* Appearance interior is clean and plane, sporty exterior
*Cost of ownership- vary good on gas, but new parts can be expensive.
*Fun factor- fun to drive Feb 20, 2009

This car was very good for the price I had paid for it. I was able to maintain an average of 47 MPG on the highway, packed to the roof with camping gear. It did have a bent lifter since I got it, but was still able to blow the doors off of Civics!Feb 13, 2009

I love my car, its great on gas, i havent had any problems with it, and it drives soo smoothly. I think peopel should not be afraid to buy neons! They really are a great car, even though they may crumble when in an accident haha But nonetheless, i love my neon!Oct 23, 2008

This car gets pretty good gas mileage, especially light on the pedal, although as soon as the tach breaks 3 grand you can watch the gas gauge go down.
The 2.0Litre SOHC engine is considerably underpowered, only producing 132HP at the crank. And it's linked to a 3spd tranny, so at highway speeds the car revs high.
Thankfully its some of the body panels are plastic so rust isnt all that common.Sep 08, 2008
