Perfomance: Not Great, slipping clutch meant you couldn't put any power down. Brakes were running metal to metal so it didn't stop well, handled Ok. Build Quality: Not Great, its a Rover. Appearence: Good, really nice condition Cost of Ownership: Good on fuel Fun Factor: Quite dangerous, so was a lot of fun to driveSep 24, 2010

This Rover 420il was converted to T16 turbo power by MG Rover specialist garage. The boost from the 620Ti engine has been increased slightly to improve performance whilst maintaining reliability. It has Spax RSX suspension and MG ZS180 brakes. This car will outperform most modified MG ZS180s and standard Scoobies.Aug 20, 2010

Well... It's a good car till 180.000 km... then you better check your engine's cooling system very ofter. If not, it will go off :( Beside this scary thing, it's a very good car in many aspects. Yet, I prefer the earlier model (200-400 series). Good comfort ride although too soft seats, very good build quality, and thing works good as a japanese car... of course! The engine has enough power, yet the Rover's 103hp are weaker and need to eat more than in other similar cars.Jul 27, 2010
