I have the 99 Regal LS sedan and it runs very well. It is fully loaded/power/leather seats. The only issue I have is the low coolant light which comes on and off then the check engine soon light. No leaks so my mechanic deals with the sensor. Other than that, scheduled service and it runs great for a new antique!Jul 15, 2024

Got the car as a work car in 2012, replaced an alternator, serpentine belt, tires and a battery. Change oil, add gas, done. As reliable as a car can be. Basic maintenance has me at 180,000 miles and I will drive it until the body goes away.May 26, 2015

She just wasn't not maintained well by previous owners. The 3800 is a fantastic motor but has overheating problems. Gets good gas mileage and has plenty of power. But little quality issues plague this car, such as windows falling out of track, ignition won't shut off unless it cools down.Mar 04, 2013
