I love my car. It is great apart from using mutch gas. It is a good first car and I like driving it. This car is a stick shift so I like that because it is mutch more fun to drife.Nov 12, 2009

Volvo S40 T4. Great car, 220 hp through the front wheels, bit mad, superb handling and great performance. 0-60 in 6 seconds!!! Top speed is about 150 mph!!! All leather inside and fully loaded with comfort features. Should have been rear wheel drive though, would have made all the difference. Another thing was the traction control would go crazy in wet conditions.Oct 26, 2009

Disco-car number one, but you must buy one white bigger engine, but you can buy lot of things to style this already good looking car. if you buy a red one prepar yourself to work a lot to make it stay red, or it will turn to pink.Sep 18, 2009

the volvo s40 T4 2 liter turbo, is a surprisingly quick 4 door saloon, approx 200 brake horse power, but you do tend to fly thru front tyres rather quickly,GOOD FUN

The volvo S40 T4 gives 200 HP - awesome accelleration, nice turbo kick. Mileage is excellent, given that I do not drive it slow.
Family saloon, comfortable and fast, huge loading space.
Appearance is not extreme, which makes it even more fun to drive fast because people don't see it coming.Jun 17, 2009

toffe en luxueuze auto, zeker met het lederen interieur en in combinatie met leuke audio-install. enorm veilig maar duur in onderhoud! verbruik ligt spijtig genoeg veel te hoog met zo'n 12 a 13 liter per 100 km! en trekt traag op! maar eens op toeren kan je lekker doorboren!!!Jun 16, 2009

Here is a car that would certainly satisfy any driver, or at least most. Let's take a look at it.
First, the design. Basically, straight lines combined with curvy edges, which were the signature Volvo design in the late 90's. It is a combination of both classic and modern design elements, which I find is a beatiful effect. Definately not a common car.
Now, the performance. This 1998 Volvo S40 is powered by a 1.9 Turbo Diesel engine - euro spec, you guessed it - which totals 105 hp. Not much, isn't it? Well it gets the job done, if you are looking for a decent car to get you around. Besides, the engine is very reliable and healthy. A smooth ride, with decent power, as long as you don't ask too much from it.
The positive aspect is when it comes for you to put gas in your tank. This Volvo proves to be a real gas saver, with an MPG of 35. That is much for a 10-year old car. Maintenance is also prety cheap. Since I have bought it, I only changed the oil and added glass washing liquid. That's it!
Another gereat aspect of this car is its quality. Indeed, the overall build quality is very good for a vehicle this old. The paint is well preserved. As you can see it, the car looks like new and has no sun dammage. The interior is mixed. Some parts, such as the ceeling and most of the dashboard are very good and other parts are crap, like the door handles and some of the dash.
All in all, a car for every day - it combines everything a normal driver needs - but not your every day car - definately not a common one.Jan 11, 2009

I'm still wondering why I sold this one. It was great, always working, air condition, electric windows, integrated seats for kids, central locking, ABS, leather seats, intelligent audio system controlling so that it heard always because it was controlling the volume compared to ambient noice (road and engine and so on), cruise controll heated side mirrors...I shouldn't of sell this one but I guess that 5 years got me bored with it.
