I just love my pulsar, it is fuel efficient, easy to park, smooth to drive, comfortable. The only bad thing about my little beast is that it's difficult to service at home, you have to pull half of the engine apart to get to the filters or the belts . . . Aug 06, 2009

Took a while to get used to the staggered power delivery with maximum power not being delivered until around 7000rpm however most impressed with the pull at those revs. Not a particularly large car, bit of a tight squeeze with 4 adults (not much leg room in the back seat) yet surprisingly a big boot. The vzr has unique features over the standard pulsar, the NEO VVL engine for one, larger brakes, strut brace, enhanced spoiler kit and factory LSD to name a few. This replaced the vtec 4 door integra and it was definitely a step up on the honda. More power, better handling, heaps more fun!!Feb 08, 2009

Im still warmin to this car.. the only thing Im really diggin is the colour and its a manual.
Its a LX model series2, hatchback, so theres no fancy stuff to it - very stock basic..I would have preferred to get my hands on the SSS hatch if anythin but this car came at the right price with really good kms on it... its the everday car for us at the moment as we are tryin to keep fuel costs down.
We purchased this about a month ago, the only thing that has been done to it was a sports exghaust with chrome tip.. It has a nice purr to it - not too loud and not to weak.
It handles like crap compared to the ute, so all we intend to do to it is tighten the suspension and lower it - slamin on some nice rims and put front and rear struts on it... oh and fix up the sound system in it... It sucks!
I would only recommend for the kms you get out of the petrol tank! I must admit I am happy with that!Oct 01, 2008

Its sweet, does the job, fairly good on juice.
Wish it had more grunt, but with a 1.6L engine its pretty awesome.
Hasn't had any major issues, economical to run.
Good market value and the depreciation isn't too bad.
Windshield tend to fog up much much more in cold weather than of the Toyota I had before.
Stronger head lamps would be good. and a remote boot latch.
Clutch is pretty low meaning switches on fairly quickly off the ground, lot of clutch play. Easy to drive. Good turning circle.
Handles fairly well on wet road conditions.
If you look after it , It will look after you :)Jul 07, 2008

I loved my car, but being so low you couldnt drive any faster than 60km on any roads. I wish I hadnt sold it but in a way am glad that I dont have the problems anymore that came with it.Jan 05, 2008

I just bought it because it's blue & the white dials on the dash look really cool. And it has a sunroof. Did I mention that it's blue...?Jan 01, 2008

Brilliant all round, just needed the 2ltr bottom end from day one, now has the torque and power to match a fun chassis.Dec 23, 2007
