For ten years (since 2004) this has been my summer joy. The 1998 SL500 is a classic Mercedes luxury convertible, comfortable and reliable enough for a summer cross-country expedition. What a joy to jaunt through the mountains in fall weather with the top down and the seat heaters on!Oct 11, 2014

My favorite. Runs great, Shifts great, Very high quality. Performance deserves an A+ rating. Visors have lights, Very rich man car. Beautiful German leather interior, clear Bose stereo.Dash is the most accurate of all time,Amazing oil pressure, OK gas mileage, takes alot of Coolant, but who cares!Oct 11, 2010
