What owners say
"Owners generally love the 1998 Honda Accord Coupe for its reliable performance, decent gas mileage, and spacious interior. Many appreciate its strong acceleration, especially with the V6 engine. However, some drivers mention that the cabin space can feel cramped during long drives and that the gas mileage could be better for a performance-oriented car."
The Accord Coupe is a great daily driver - the V6 is decent on gas compared to other 3.0L+ V6 motors of the time, and the torque (200ft. lbs) is positively un-Honda-like. Build quality is great, had a few issues as a first-year model, but otherwise very reliable for a Honda built in Ohio and not Japan.
December 22, 2008I love that the car has a sunroof, spoiler, leather interior and an overall sleek look. The audio system is pretty good and the AC is kick ass to have down here in Houston, especially since mine is dark purple.
June 12, 2008In my opinion, the best looking Accord of all the generations. With excellent aerodynamics, and tail lights reminiscent of the NSX, this is a beautiful car. Excellent performance, and still running like new at 177,000 miles.

June 27, 2008This car is sweet! It has decent gas mileage, about 25 city/highway. It handles really well, and the 4 anti-lock brakes grip well. It runs about 150 hp and 150 ft\lbs torque in a 4 cylinder VTEC engine. There is plenty of room even in the 2 door. Outsanding trunk space, head/leg room for both driver and passenger and plenty of room in the engine bay (if thats what you're into :0). Plus its a Honda and generally speaking they last forever.
February 15, 2008Like the most, 3.0 V6 vtec) 200 hp power plant is the same engine my 97 Acura CL 3.0 had so it gets up and moves, and style and looks are nice. Dislikes cabin room is small long drives suck, gas mileage is fair not great, Performance upgrades seem high at least for quality products
December 8, 2011This model of Honda Accord Coup (1998-2002) were the best looking of all the years they have held the name. This color red in particular is rivaled only by Ferarri and made this car a stunner. I will own another.
January 22, 2010It goes 0-60MPH in 5.2 seconds and brakes is beautiful and the handling rocks. It does not have to be repaired and squeaks a bit on bumps. The styling is excellent. Beautiful and great. Very fun to drive my friend.
December 5, 2009Overall the best midsized coupe I have ever owned! Roomy interior and decent gas mileage. The car gets around 26 mpg through town and is definately a sharp car to look at in the sun. I just wish it had a sunroof and 5-speed but that is the only thing I would change about the car.
August 1, 2008Good gas mileage, even for a V6. Great body style as well. Excellent acceleration!
February 6, 2008Still kinda new to me. Had to learn to drive manual when I bought it, easy to learn. Lots of room! Car likes to go fast:)
