This was a project car that cost me $20,000+ to build. However; I was able to get over 500 horsepower out of a bored and stroked 5.0L (302ci) engine. It became a 5.4L 515 horsepower monster after adding CFR 185 heads, Torque Monster custom built ceramic coted headers port matched to AFR 185 heads, Throttle body and air flow meter from a 04 Mustang Cobra, 3.5" intake supply, 92 Mustang GT tubular upper intake port matched to stock lower intake which was port matched to the AFR 185 heads, MSD DIS-4 Plus High Output Ignition, 32lb injectors, and custom tuned Ford 1998 OBD II engine control system.Jul 24, 2014
