I love the gas mileage, ride, responsiveness on turns and curves and dependability in all kinds of weather. The style is top notch and the car has served me well for 15 years. I would recommend it to friends and wish Dodge still made the Intrepid.Aug 13, 2013

It is basically a Jeep. I like the fact that almost all of the parts are interchangeable with Jeep, Chrysler LHS and the Concord. It is very easy to modify. The 2.7 engine is trash though, avoid it at all costs. -PeezyAug 11, 2013

I love the reliability, I don't like how big it is, it's difficult to park. Also I bought it used with a lot of rust and body damage, so it's not pretty. But it has almost 300,000 miles and I expect it to run until at least 350,000!Nov 04, 2012

I like everything about this car the exterior style its very smooth when driving , Uses very little gas, It's not a very big car, it's a comfortable car to have own and drive, it has window locks and it also has door looks safe for kids, it has alot of space in the trunk, good motor.Jun 10, 2012

I loved these cars when they first came out! It is fully loaded. An ES.. That makes it extra special. LOL.. It is fun to drive because of the auto stick option. I can take it out of automatic on back roads and just test it on every corner. It holds the road very well.

Just bought it. Love the gas mileage, the look, the power, it's comfortable for a family of four. It's only a '98, so we got it at a very reasonable price. Looks like we will have this vehicle for a long time to come. This is our second Dodge, as we also have a '99 Durango. Sep 28, 2009

i loved this car.. i had a K & N cold air intake with ram air hook up. Dual catback exhaust with 2 obx 3.5" starights that made it growl and you could hear me coming from a mile away. but it came with silencers for normal driving if i wanted to focus on my music. lolJul 27, 2009

I've reached the 300 000km with mine and she still goes like the first day I drove out of the dealer. I never had any MAJOR failure(as long as you've got the 3.2L you're good). Oh of course I've put some pieces on it but who never did uh?Jun 30, 2009

Handles well, even in winter for a sedan. Have had
car for 11+ years, hasn't needed any big part
replacements such as transmission except brakes.
Interior has held up very well . Also has pretty

Its a great kid car. HUGE trunk. I was able to pack my life into that car for traveling from home to college. Great gas mileage as well for a big car. I was able to get 29-31 highway. That is with a 3.2 V6 @ 230hpJun 24, 2009

Its a dodge...but on two trips to the SW we put over 5000 miles covering everywher from San Fran to Las Vegas. then from san diego to tucson to the Grand canyon it was a fun trip and more than enough room for 5 si even got this puppy up to 120 on highway 8 going into san diegoFeb 10, 2009

it runs good, but it is such a gas guzzler!
has 6 cylinders, performance vehicle,
has good tires,
lots of dents!
cost is about 1,000 overall.
scratches, has been run like a nascar vehicle...
amazing ride along, amazing car
fun car to drive
needs repairs (door sticks, windows are pretty squeeky)

my car has a few gremlins which make it have quite the personality of it's own. sometimes when you turn off the engine one of the lights stay on in the back seat, but not often in fact doesn't happen as much anymore but it now has one in the trunk switch, so we have to use the key always instead of the switch otherwise it opens as u drive continuously.

I liked this car. I bought it when the Nissan Stanza died, it was 2 years old. Cloth seats which I preferred for the Texas summers, good controls, drove well and had style.Apr 21, 2008
