it is just what i wanted a 2 seat british sports car,not practicle but fun,it ticks all the right boxes, but without the headaches of the older cars sourcing spares, and finding the right mechanic who knows the cars even though we know 2 in bruno and mark not as common as the mx5,and better looking than 1 as wellAug 24, 2012

Nice little showy motor, cheap to buy looks mint in the summer and Well built. Obviously you dont look into things like boot space and rear seats with this baby. Suits a single man/woman or a childless couple. Perfect for the weekend. Useless in the snow as rear wheel drive. Oh yes a tad bit noisy from the engine.Dec 01, 2011

Coolant problems and K Series Head Gaskets are always a problem unless you get the upgrade.
Plus side, good cheap, fun open top motoring, you can't get much better than the MGF!
50 ltr tank will give me 600km to a tank.
If you look after it, you don't need to spend the earth. A 15 year old car with 50,000 miles on the clock, itshould still sail through the MOT's!Oct 18, 2011

Originally built with a 1.8i, this car was converted to VVC spec when it was r-imported into the UK. The handling of this car around corners is brilliant compared to a standard MGF. Due to being built to race specifications other modified MGFs can outperform it it a straight line and outbrake it into corners.Aug 20, 2010
