It was a great truck. 20mpg, from her VORTEC 305. I am ashamed to say I broke
it. It was not rated to tow 9,000 lbs 1,500 mi. All in all I would recommend this
truck to any one, even if had 300,000 mi.Nov 10, 2012

Performance is great. Interior is like new, Leather burgundy interior, all pwr options, etc. gas milage sucks, but very worth the cost of driving it. It's great off road. It has straight pipes all the way back from the catalytic converters.Oct 11, 2010

Pros:
5.7 Liter Vortec V8 was a monster, so much torque. The Chevy 350 may not be pretty by any standards, but it's my absolute favorite engine. It sounded beautifully with my 50 series flowmaster mufflers.
Z71 package really did good on the dangerous, pothole ridden streets of Massachusetts.
This truck isn't rounded off like the next gen Sierra/ Silverados. This truck looks like a f***ing truck. It was my favorite looking vehicle thus far.
You felt like you owned the road driving this truck.
A 8 foot tall, 4000 lb man could sit comfortably in the front... or in the bed!
Cons:
160 miles on a 25 gallon tank. Gas was expensive in 2006-2007. This SUCKED. I would've kept this truck, had i not been working at Target at the time.
Many interior pieces just snapped off in due time, mainly the interior drivers side door handle. That sucked.
Tailgate was all rusted at the top due to an ugly chrome strip at the top.
Passengers did not feel safe in this truck.
This truck isn't a good daily driver due to the abysmal gas milage, and it was utterly impossible for me to parallel park. I guess this goes for any truck though.
The back seats were uncomfortable for a 4'10 girl.
Three doors, wtf? It sucked for whoever had to sit behind me.
I traded it for a v6 mn12 1st gen mustang. I'm an asshole.

This is the first truck that I have owned, and I would do it all over again. I love the power, the versatility, the stance - everything. Jun 10, 2008
