Performance : moteur 1.6i 90 chevaux.
mixte ville/route/autoroute
Apr 12, 2010

economy, steering, balance, comfort, quality, it is great thing to drive a Citroen Xantia with hydraulic suspention system. It is very cheap in use specially the 1.8 cc motor
that I own .With full tank you drive for 700-850 km.Jul 04, 2009

Owned since August and purchased for just £600. Had a Mondeo for a short amount of time and tried other cars of its type i.e Vectra, none were as good as the Citroen for build and solidity (yes i know its french but the doors shut solid and the inside doesnt squeek!) It's a 1.9 TD LX with some upgrades from higher spec models, i have optimised the fuelling and boost for the best performance/mpg compromise and even runs on vegetable, the engine is very smooth for a diesel and responds and pulls strongly. The handling is far better than it initially feels, it does roll but the chassis is very stable and solid thanks to its long wheelbase and wide track, grip is only limited by understeer on the limit. The brakes are typical Citroen sharp and short travel but give confidence despite the lack of ABS. Loads of space inside and great for my growing family. Excellent cruiser, 45mpg on average, 0-60 in about 10 seconds so nippy for a big heavy car (weights close to 1300kg). One of the best cars Citroen have made!Dec 26, 2007

I bought my '97 R plate for £500 I've done around 12k miles in it and it's so comfy and handles like a dream. Definitely the best chassis of all the heaps I've owned, only downside is the auto gearbox is sometimes a little early/ late for changing.Dec 19, 2007
