Performance: RS1800 is quick, brakes shoddy, handles ok on lowered suspension. Would have been better if the front shocks were good.
Build Quality: Ok, a bit flimsy.
Appearence: Nice.
Cost of Ownership: Reasonably cheap to run
Fun Factor: Quite funOct 04, 2010

This was my first ever car, after 2 yrs it sounded like a diesel bearing in mind it was a petrol 1.1 cc. mileage was over 60k after 3yrs before i got rid of it.
Absolute crap car but was decent enough at the time for me to use.Sep 02, 2009

My Fiesta has the best possible stock paint. The petrol-blue color, which u can see as green or blue with pearls gives my car the best appearance. It may be accelerates slow, but has perfect handling, and i can drive all around so cheap. Jun 27, 2009

Performance: 1.3 litre engine was good enough for everyday driving, but don't hope to pass a car at high speeds!
Build Quality: plastics were of not-so-good quality, and I had some rust problems, but that's it.
Appearance: it's a 12 years old car, so you wouldn't expect to be stunished by it's almost 20 years old desing.
Cost of Ownership: mine has just passed the 45k km mark, and repairing has just not been expensive at all!
Fun Factor: well, it's rather small, so that makes it fun, but due to the lack of a powerful engine, it's not as fun as othersDec 15, 2008

Performance - Sets off slow but gets going after a while. Braking is good. Scary when going fast around corners and it starts sliding cos its got understear!!
Its had its sills repaired
Appearence is good, slight bit of rust but nothing abit of touch up paint cant fix!!
Love my 1st car!! Even though its cost me the world!!Sep 16, 2008

The best way to see if a small car is going to be good is to go a long way in it. 400 miles from Home to a holiday in Cornwall, did not disapoint. Dearly beloved, myself and the sprog with enough holiday detritus to sink the Bismark. Tested Frisky's capabilities as a TARDIS. Loaded to the gunnels. Sprog still able to play her nintendo or what ever it is and me still able to do 70 mph through the Somerset levels. But the old girl really came into her own on Cornwalls tight and twisty country lanes. The Stretch of the A38 from the Tamar tunnel to Bodmin is like a special rally stage, and even with the extra weight, the road holding and cornering was superb. I often turn off the main commuter drag and take the road to the office that goes over the moors so that I can put her through her paces, This is the 1996 Fiesta mark 4 1.25 Si 16V. This car is certainly brings out the driver in me.May 08, 2008
