1996 Citroen XM Reviews, Pricing & Specs

This was a great car, possibly the quietist, most luxurious fast car i have owned. Performance from the 3.0 V6 was good, (acheived 140mph in France!) fuel consumption average (22-26mpg), auto gearbox wasn't so great - ratios not perfectly matched, but smooth changes, handling & grip awesome - attack a sweeping corner at 50 (rubbish) take the same corner at 70 fab! Hydractive electronic suspension a marval - unfortunately highly expensive to keep operating correctly! Servicing £200-£450 average + many other repairs, but didn't matter because car brilliant in an eccentric manner! Build quality great fo a French car, had every electrical gadget known (plus heated rear seats & powered centre arm rest!) Gorgeous black leather throughout - would definately buy another (need deep pockets though!)Jan 10, 2009
