I bout this car brand new in 97 and have never regretted it!!! Love the manual transmission and the gas saving effect. Too bad about the highway road noise but the ride is always worth it!!! I Love my little Integra so much my husband and I call it "My Baby"!!!Jan 24, 2015

I was the second owner of this one - it had 39k miles when I bought it and 112k when I sold it. It was pretty much on it's last legs when I unloaded it at Carmax: - speedomoter didn't work when outside temp was below 40*; - CD player wouldn't release cd's - antenna got stuck going up & down - clear coat was peeling on the entire car But she was a good, reliable one while I had her!Apr 30, 2013

When I got this car it only had about 48,000 mileage if I'm correct. Now it read 75,511 mileage. That's the original for a 1996. It's great for commuting and also great to park within tight spots. I'm the second owner and I had no problems with this car.Mar 28, 2013

Awesome little car. Fun to drive. Would definetly be more fun with a turbo. Hardly any maintenance. I've owned the car for about 5 years and put about 40k miles on it and havent repaired anything on it. Probably never gonna get rid of it.May 05, 2012

This was my daily driven car. it was a fun car to drive. it got good gas mileage and needed the basic maintenance, never gave me problems, good reliable car, only thing i upgraded was brakes with brembo rotors, and suspension with Omni Power coilovers.May 19, 2011

Bone stock silver '96 Integra. Great car, fairly low mileage for the model year, great commuter car (30-35 mpg highway). Great handling, corners fast and flat with no body roll, although the ride can be a bit jarring on uneven pavement. Good acceleration and great stability at high speeds, although it is unfortunately an automatic. I am 6'2" and lanky and feel snug but not cramped in the cockpit. Loads of cargo space with the back seat folded down, I can easily fit a 32" flat screen TV, a suitcase, and a week's worth of groceries with room to spare. However, probably would not comfortably seat more than 3 full size adult males. Great car, a very fun car to drive. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a very reliable yet sporty little coupe with low running and maintenance costs, yet still a cut above any comparable American or Korean competitor. For the tuning crowd, this might be the definitive platform to build your custom ride.Apr 16, 2011

performace - the gsr have pretty good acceleration and also a nice top end speed the gsr motor to me iz jus an all around good motor with a nice combination of torque and horsepower. the braking isnt too bad but way better if u upgrade to a type R 5 lug..I have a tein super street coilover suspension and my handling is exceptional.Oct 10, 2010

Nice car, they come with 4 wheel disc brakes, which is rare on hondas. They hold resale value, aren't too heavy, and the Japanese 1998 spec Type R engine makes 210 horsepower. The car is not too heavy and this one even has a/c and power steering that function perfectly! I have tons of parts coming already and will keep you updated.Sep 05, 2010

The car was a pretty reliable all around car. Peformance wise, it wasn't all that bad, but wasn't that great either. It was just you're average car that got great gas mileage. It had not needed any repairs when I owned it, was a well built car, engine ran strong. Interior/exterior was perfect, nothing wrong with it, liked the way it looked. Gas mileage was great, $20 to fill it up, and got around 450 to a tank, what more could you ask for? The car was a blast to drive, had all the features I wanted in a car. 5 speed, 2 door, sunroof. My 1995 Integra was bomb! Great acceleration, the handling was excellent, and the braking perfect. The quality of the car was awesome, didn't squeak, or rattle. It was not noisy at all, just awesome. appearance of the car was just beautiful, both interior and exterior. Cost of ownership? Not much, insurance was not that expensive, almost the same as a civic, gas mileage was pretty good. If i recall correctly about 24mpg And it was the most fun car to drive i've had yet!May 20, 2010

Performance: Handling is spot on, acceloration is best in ITR and GSR form, but with 30+mpg the B18B is great! Build quality: Its a Honda. Appearance: Interior is 10 of 10 I love these cars inside, body styling is great, especially when lightly modded, or with front end converted right. Cost of Ownership: Cheap as the dirt you walk on. Its a fun and sporty little car. It has a manual transmission, which I think is a must in any sportscar. You just get a much better feel for the vehicle that way, plus I love the challenge of it. It gets great gas mileage, which it has to since it only has a 10 gallon tank. It gets 30+ on the highway and about 25+ in town. It has pretty decent acceleration for not being upgraded, good braking and has great turning. It does need some suspension work though since it is virtually nonexistent and it needs a new A/C as well. I would recommend this car, since it is a great car to get started in learning manual since it is quite forgiving. The only possible bad thing about it is the fact that it is a front-wheel drive car. That makes a better everyday/all weather vehicle than a rear-wheel drive, but at the same time it takes away some of the sportiness factor. I'm also still more used to the handling characteristics of rear-wheel/four-wheel drive since the first vehicle that I started driving and drove for years was a 1995 Ford Explorer SportJan 05, 2009

The car is really a nice one. Its a small light car with almost 50 50 wait distribution. Acceleration is very good as it goes 0-60 mph in 5 secs. The interior and exterior is in excellent condition. And it has only 93k on it.....and as far as gas consumption is concerned, it all depends on who is driving the car :) Oct 04, 2008

Performance- DOHC V-Tech makes it pretty quick for a nearly stock little car. Build Quality- Little rattle here and there (138K), Needs a paint job and body work in some spots Appearance- Looks awesome when clean, has many little imperfections, The interior is great Cost- Gas- 30-35 higway, 25 city Oil- normal oil changes. I’m a 16-year-old male, and after months of research and searching, I finally found the perfect car for me. I needed something small and good on gas that was under 6K, but I still wanted something sporty. The car had been owned by a 78-year-old lady who had just died (she must have been pretty cool to have an Integra). It was in a wreck 4 years ago, but was fully repaired and repainted. It has 65K miles. She kept a full maintenance record, and the only repairs done have been routine maintenance, water pump/timing belt, and radiator. I generally get 28 City and 37 Highway. Cruising on the highway is really bad. Wind/road/tire/engine noise is annoying, and its geared so that 3,000RPM is hit at 65MPH. New tires may help with the noise some since the stock tires are a bit old. Over all, I LOVE MY CAR May 23, 2008

The 96 Integra stock is a great commuter car. This special edition has been modified to match my driving preferences. (Stiffer and lowered suspension, Better Rims/tires, cold air intake for better high end acceleration and top speed, and nicer sounding exhaust) The upgraded suspension is where its at though!
