1995 Renault Safrane Reviews, Pricing & Specs

This 2.2vi Executive Automatic was alright to look at, so,so comfortable, fantastic 10 disc audio system, and loads of space. 2.2 engine was weak, rough, and noisey. Made worse by an appalling gearbox, both rough changes and conpletely mismatched engine/gearbox ratios, it would change at the wrong time most of the time! Did not enjoy this car, promptly changed it for a Volvo engined & gearboxed Safrane 2.5 20valve auto - Totally different car and so much better!Aug 25, 2010
