sucks in the snow. horrid even with snow tires but goes anywhere i want it to if you give it enough gas and know how to drive. breaks good, no blind spots, drop a gear and it holds you back, little maintenance but mine is all stock. avg. 19mpgJul 31, 2014

God i loved this car. It was my first car and i loved driving it. I really wish i didnt have to sell it. I mean i really with i didnt have to. I always caught people looking at it as i drove by. It sounded so strong and it could pull down a house if you needed it too. I drove it around with the top down any chance i had....even in the rain. One day i will get it back, I promise. I recommend this car to anyone because it was just flat out cool.Apr 09, 2014

Used daily for work/school and it rode great and smooth with no repairs needed. The hood paint is slightly faded but I think it gives the jeep more character and have been told to keep it the way it is by many bystanders. An all-around great vehicle that runs how it should.Oct 08, 2013

The Jeep Wrangler is a rugged kit of parts that has been a valuable companion for many years. With regular maintained, which is the easiest of any vehicles to work on it will be there for you for many years. Dec 11, 2012

Extremely fun vehicle. I travel extremely close to work (less than 5 minutes) and have used it to commute. The vehicle is in great condition, no mechanical problems. Has a bikini top, tow package, folding rear seat. 4x4, 4 cylinder. Sep 14, 2012

previous owner did lots of upgrading to the mechanical parts. it needs some body
work but it still runs and gets around town with out any problem the clutch leaks
but not bad enough to stop driving it. its a JEEP no further

i have a 95 Jeep Wrangler Rio Grande Edition, with the 2.5 4cyl and the 5spd tranny, first off i have sunk ALOT of money into this rig, was using it as a every other day driver, the steering column screwed up on me the 2nd week i had it, cost over $500 to install a new one, 2 or 3 months after that the 5th gear goes out in the tranny, next week the whole tranny is out! i still havent fixed it! its sitting in a garage while i drive my RELIABLE Camaro.....Jeeps are known to be money pits mine is thats for sure!

bought it for 5 grand at an dealer. a few exterior mods later, its just like an atv
with an roof and a heater! i use it for hunting and dirt roads and some times in
winter. not fast at all but will get your there no matter what! great winter vehicle.

Accelerates about as fast as you can use a clutch, brakes real well. Little
squirrelly at high speed. Built tough, has not need a lot of repair mostly
on
water system - pump, hose, radiator. Appearance - few chip in paint
but
other wise shine up well. My cost lower than any of my other cars. has
16
gallon gas tank so depending on price I pay $60-$75 every 2 weeks.
Maintenance so far had it for 6 years $800. FUN FACTOR - FUN FUN
FUN.

this thing is a go anywhere do anything machine. although its a smaller vehicle and
it is harder for a taller person to sit in for hours it is one of the best rides on and off

I like the freedom feeling, i dislike the price tag of fixin a yj every ten seconds.
Really harsh ride. It's smoother on dirt than it is on blacktop. lack of power and gearing makes it slow on the highway. i get about 21 mpgs. all in all I think it can go just about anywhere now and i haven't even modded it yet. Aug 07, 2010

Only thing Im bummed out about this Jeep is, it's only got the 4 banger. It's a little under powered for a box on wheels. Unless you get the Sahara or Rubicon (or the odd chance you stumble across a normal yj with the option) you're gonna have some power problems going up hill and at highway speed. The straight 6 is a really great engine. Im not sure how hard a swap would be, guess I'll find out one day. Still, the 2.4 is a good engine... but the 4.0 would be soo much nicer.Jul 25, 2010

it has enough power to pull the front tires off the ground. but when something breakes on it it manages to break alot of other things at the same time. it is really fun to drive and its scary at the same time

i has the 2.5 4 cyl motor and a 5 speed in mine and for a toy it was great, it sucked ass to drive on the highway it was all it would do to cruse at 65 and it was horrible on gas worse than the 06 silverado i had at the time but it was a blast in the mud it had plenty of power in first and second gear which is all i used where i used to take it and it never once got stuck i would buy another one in a second... as long as i had something else to drive when i got tired of having my fillings knocked loose.Apr 07, 2010

What more can you ask for? A solid Jeep. Nothing better
than 4 wheel leaf springs with a full frame. Lockers are a
must. Lifts are also a good idea as long as you spring lift it.
These things dont like block lifts. 4cyl is a good motor but

Was a good car.. bought it planning to fix up, it had some
rust on it... it had a 2.5 liter 4-cylinder, with a manual 5

Wasn't the fastest truck on the road but was able to get the job done. It was built pretty good, only thing wrong was we had to replace the catalitic converter twice. The truck looked aggressive with a 3in lift and 32's. It only got about 10mpg put other than that was good to maintain. It was a fun truck to take in the mud and out in the woods. Oct 04, 2009

no power and noisy when the top is on. other than that its a fun vehicle to drive. Wouldn't recomend as a daily driver with a soft top. one plus is they are easy to customize and after market parts are easy to come by.Sep 08, 2009

I had the 2.4l engine, and it came with a lift, so the
performance was a little weak, and it only got 16mpg. Other
than that, I am absolutely in love with the car. No engine

First three things to look for in a car.. Safety, Reliability and Comfort... the three things you don't get in a Jeep Yj

cost-nothing breaks other than the alternator on 128
Fun- the doors come off and the mirrors come off with them. the windshield folds down...

Its weak, full of trash, dirty and the radio is broken. Its also paid for and reliable. Got a great turn radius and good for riding around. In the summer, taking the top and doors off make it like driving an ATV almost. I really don't have any complaints.Jul 27, 2009

Alright the two things I like is that its only a 4 cylnder so it lacks in the horse power area, and it has leaf springs all around so I dont get alot of travel on the trail but they are cheaper to lift with all leafs.Jul 27, 2009

its dead sexy. its arizonian. it's name is tucker. it frequently runs away, either hitting your fathers new truck or a tree. it survived being totalled by a telephone pole and abandonment from my older sister. it has no shocks so railroad tracks are always interesting. its an off-roaders dream. There was no place i could not go. Mud, snow, ice - nothing stopped me from getting to where i needed to be. Soft top in the summer was awesome and heater was a volcano in the winter. Wife loved it, too. Too bad the kids came along or i's still have it ...Aug 29, 2008

My first ride after college- I drove this across the country to Virginia and back again from North Carolina. Not good for long road trips, but awesome off road in the mud. Decent on gas, but I wish I would have gotten AC... it got hot in the NC sun with only a bikini top to give shade. Lotas fun at the beach!Aug 18, 2008

The wrangler i had was the rio grande edition it was green with tan interior but it had a black top. I lover driving this jeep and the respect i got from others that drove wranglers. I put new over head speakers in and a new stero in the jeep and i was jamming.Aug 03, 2008
