Basically the 106 mk1 is a practical simple car but its not
without its problems. The worst part about some smaller
engine 106's is that the steel wheels are 3 stud so it is hard to
get alloys. But all in all a good cheap car ideal for first time

Peugeot 106 XSi 1.6
Love and hate affair. Great Performance, Sporty appearance, Fun Factor out of scale. But boy was did it suffer from bad build quality! And over all the dealerships that delivered their services to me, I can say that is was consistently bad. It cost me at least twice what I've paid for it in parts, man hours and waiting for motor assistance.

Punches well above it's weight. An unbelievable normally aspirated 1.3 engine that sounds amazing and wants to be rev'd. A unique suspension that helps it corner like nothing else. Poor brakes, but they're not really needed you just turn the wheel.Mar 27, 2008
