The Trooper has been one of the most underrated SUV’s from the 80’s and 90’s. Performance, comfort and economy was generally better than advertised. Second generation Troopers from ‘92 to ‘97 were not as overly encumbered with technology, and the ‘95.5 to ‘97’s were in my mind the best of the lot. Apr 22, 2022

This car is ok, its very top heavy and is very tipsy on corners. I feels like it has monsterous power but its very misleading, i like to drive it but its nothing like my jeep which sucks to me. gas milage really blows, extreme gas guzler.Oct 19, 2011

Big bad green SUV. pretty much buletproof. Engine rock solid, still on the original tranny after 216000 miles. cost 2500 which i still think was a steal. great car to drive if not a little top heavy. slides around on wet roads tooFeb 18, 2009
