I loved that car. It was a high performance sports car in a Wagon. But there is a HUGE problem. The Car had the infamous Mitshubishi V6 Engine that was built for leaded gasoline. At around 60,000 the valve guides will go and the engine will need to be replaced or rebuilt We know it was common because this was the same engine used on Caravan Wagons of that era, and they suffered that fate. While Mitsubishi refused to recognize the problem, an independent mechanic immediately recognized it and called it The Mitsubishi 6 Cylinder Engine Problem I did have the engine rebuilt kept it till 120K when the MPGs dropped into to about 15 on the highway. But you shouldnt have to replace an engine and transmission. And Mistsubishi should have owned it. Jun 04, 2020
