It worked, ran, and rolled but the muffler was modded to make more noise and rattled due to improper mounting. The tired were a bit old and worn, the tow hitch had clearly been through some fun, the doors have no windows or handles, Last but not least the stereo faceplate had been stolen while sitting in the lot so youre gonna end up paying 13k for something you cant even blast tunes with on your way home.Jul 19, 2022

The car is great to get around town and short trips.
I would not recommend this car for families.
Not alot of extra space and handles rough.
But in the summer time, take the top off and nothing beats it.

Love The Look And The Way It Handles. — I liked this Wrangler because it looked different than most. It had a half top, custom bumpers, a winch, steel wheels with oversize tires, and rectangular headlights. That's right it is a YJ. I really enjoyed the way it drove and did a lot of thinking about weather my next Jeep should have the I6 engine and leaf spring suspension.Aug 01, 2013

I am a pure Jeep off road fanatic so rating my Jeep was easy. i love my jeep it has amazing off road, good handleing, a fairly powerful engin for a 4 cylender but is amazing on gas. all and all the funest thing ive had the opertunety to drive, other than drifting in my old cavy.Nov 14, 2012

Love the looks. the straight 6 is bullet proof. this thing will go anywhere. the down side of the YJ is the rust, the frame has rusted by the rear shackles and the transmission mount rusted off. Luckily, this is so common that the repair parts are readily available and cheap. If you are reasonably mechanically inclined you can do most of the repairs yourself. performance on this truck is outstanding never gets stuck any where
the truck is fun going off roading loves going through mudd and getting dirty the
truck is a funn driving jeep jeeps are the best ever .

I have a 93 sahara 4.0 5speed 174000 miles. acceleration is not fast, its a jeep not made to go fast but i go 70 easy. handling it will go anywhere, i replaced thermostat but thats a 7 dollar repair after 17 years! appearance its a love hate thing and i love it. if you like the out doors riding with the top off is amazing in the fall, spring, summer. maintenance doesnt need much and gas mileage is better then a truck but worse than a car. this jeep is fun to drive in all 4 seasons. its got a light bar. with 6 jc lights. its got a 3in. lift and 33in. tires. its has a 260 hp. staright 6 4.0l h.o. its coupled to a 5spd manual tranny. its got a cb atenna whip. its got front and rear warn bumpers. it cost 50 bucks to fill up. it will be fun this winter in the snow...Nov 04, 2010

The jeep wrangler is one of the amazing vehicle for an off-road experience!!! You can put so much money into then and yet still have enough specs to change on it for the life of the vehicle!!! It comes with the best and most lasting engine known to vehicle kind!! The Inline 6.. The only thing bad about it is the roll over risk on sharp corners!!!Jan 20, 2010

It can go anywhere and do anything other than go fast. Runs great and body work is easy with a sheet metal body. The gas mileage sucks but its worth the fun you have. One other thing you need to battle is rust.Oct 21, 2009

Not the fastest vehicle on the planet but it does it's job. Great in the woods and on trails, unstoppable in mud. It is the best! Can't go wrong for a $1,000 Jeep! The only thing it needs is AC. 4wd and a convertible.. perfect beach vehicle.Jul 13, 2009

Its a drop top, it has four wheel drive and I love driving it. I usually drive it in the summer only, of course thats when its not raining. Vedder loves to ride shotgun only when its not too hot.Jun 19, 2009

jeep handled well except for one sharp corner one dark night. Solidly built only slight unallignment of front tires after going down 6ft drop into trees at 80km an hour. Apperance is nice very outdoorsy. Gas milage was approx 400km per 70L. What else can i say its a typical jeepJan 07, 2009

Completely awesome! a line-6 4.0L engine delivering heavytorque to all 4 wheels!!! this baby is made for rough terrain and has notsufferd a thing! excellent quality. Classic squared-headlights look in a jeep...that 4Lthough likes gas.. A LOT but doesn'ttake away the fun factor!Jan 03, 2009

old and fun and it will pull its wait it is meet for the mun and rocks not much for the road it moves ez around the rocks not as good in the mud. it is fun to drive around in the counter not fun to drive in the cite

Slow but thats what its built for. Manual, good on low
gearing, handles decently until i get above 60 mph. Its
been well built mechanically only have changed to
skyjacker shocks for performance. Easily the most fun
car to drive no doors no problem, no top more fun, no

First Gear ratio a little high so it doesn't leap from a standing stop. Once you move to second it hums. Handles curves like a sports car and gives you the same feel of the road.Jun 13, 2008

This Jeep is a great vehicle. The axles leave a little to be desired, however they are not terribly difficult to swap out. The inline 6 is much more desired over the inline 4Jun 04, 2008

Ok. That picture is a little misleading - it was taken in 06? 07? sometime in there. Since then the jeep's gotten a 3.5/4" lift and 33" tires, so it's a little more capable now.
Technically, I should've answered "Terrible" on the performance category, but for the jeep, I measure performance differently than I do for the mustang. For the Jeep, it's rugged capabilities, for the mustang, speed & handling.Feb 21, 2008
