great engine and its still running almost 20 years after
it was built and has great acceleration and ok fuel
mileage for a V8 SUV getting about 18 highway its the
top of the line for a 1993 so its pretty good for a
$1000 truckAug 19, 2009

Performance - could use high end brakes. Power etc increased lots w/cold air intake(10%gain so 250hp and 300ish torque). Got the big 5.2L V8. Handling: eh, its an SUV. And did I mention it's got a cherry bomb?
Build quality: Amazing. 235,000+miles and engine is great. Not to mention is weighs 3800lbs so if i hit some1 in their little camry, I'm gonna win (true story)
Appearance: leather and wood trim. Ext, carbon fibre vinyl w/chrome trim, hood scoops, underglow and 4inch fogs
Cost of ownership: pretty low. Just keep up w/normal maintenance and hope the tranny doesn't go. Gas mileage is pretty bad but went up with cold air intake. I have a display that shows live mpg and I've hit 1mpg (but not for very long and it's while accel from a stop)
Fun Factor: WOW! It may be an SUV but I have tons of fun. Loud as hell too. W/auto trans i can go 1, 2, D and redline the sucker. Stock 0-60 is 8.9sec. I think now it's 5-6 sec. I hit 60 about .5sec into 2nd gearJul 01, 2009

I could do without the wood paneling... The V8 and
full time four wheel drive have been absolutely
amazing in Colorado and I-25. The leather seats along
with interior amenities are also way above anything
you would expect to find in a Jeep.May 12, 2009

It is a look only a mother could love, but this bad boy has been super reliable for a very long time. 204,000, still going strong, and NO CAR PAYMENT!Apr 08, 2008
