I like the style and the fact that Honda civic Rims fit perfectly, also very easy to work on for me. i dislike that they stopped making it and parts for it so most of my hard to find parts come from the mourge.May 21, 2012

its pretty quick for a saturn it probly helps that the car is made outta plastic also ha. i payed 200 bucks for the car it just needed a motor its not bad car it gets 30mpg, good trunk space.Jul 24, 2010

Performance was poor to decent, build quality was pretty OK for a car thats 13
years old (then) it was pretty solid and rode smoothly. It was actually a pretty
decent looking car too. With the things I did to it, I think by the end it was the
nicest looking Saturn I'd ever seen. Cost of ownership was higher then it should
have been for this type of car. I remember FREQUENTLY replacing parts and
paying out the ass for it. Repairs surpassed the actual cost of the car within
two years. It was somewhat fun to drive, especially after I modded it, but, in
the end, it was still a compact economy car.Apr 03, 2010

The car is great quality and was made to last. The car has
decent pickup but its getting slower with age. The car is very
fuel efficient and is very inexpensive to run. The car is a nice

its needing a couple of things like new air filter,flex pipe and vacume hose,nothing to serious,20$ fills the tank.is a manual and super fun to drive.Its teal and has a sunroof.not to mention two twelves in the backFeb 03, 2010

"It's different in a Saturn." I guess they were right. For a cheap coupe with a 1.9L motor, this thing hauls ass. 5 Short gears and a nice torque curve. Plus it has street manners. Lopping off the exhaust hasn't attracted the Po-pos yet. If only people actually made parts. Motor is rock solid, besides the mounts. (Irony?) Plastic body panels are nice, no rust at all. But there are two holes from various bumps. And wheel bearings like to fail. 38+ mpg on a 5 hour trip. Stock civics don't have a chance.Jan 26, 2010

it is a good car, good gas milage, but it aged quickly, i've had to put alot of money into fixing random things. and the brakes always have something wrong with them. it is a very fun car to drive though, it is almost impossible to roll even going sideways down a gravel road at 70 mphDec 10, 2009

Is this car fun to drive? yes! Cost of ownership? really low, you can save a lot on gas, maintenance, and more on this car. Interior styling looks could be a little better, but older saturns are known for their plastic body parts. Acceleration is good, braking is great and handling is wonderful. !!!Nov 18, 2009

it has a few leaks, sun roof don't work and the passenger window don't role up on its own. worst part of all is no sterio and speakers in the car. it really sux. but working on getting something better.Nov 10, 2009

it does squeak now it rattles and it needs parts if you drive it too hard its built well the car is fun to drive around and beat on as long as you have the money time knowledege and tools to fix it and its good on gasOct 06, 2009

Performance- can do 2 wheel burn out, have beaten v8s,
handling is not the best its very front heavey
Build Quality- due to poor design its rusting out bad
Appearance- Sporty for a 4 door and not over complicated
COA- $300 3 years ago and about $500-$1000 every year

doesnt look that great because the previous owner mucked it up.
performance is ok. its not super fast or anything, come on, its got less than 200hp. handles beautifully (for FWD) and can really carve some corners. and it is TONS of fun to drive
just put in a new motor (along with a fidanza flywheel/exedy clutch combo), no thanks to chris, since he blew my motor! btw chris, since you didnt pay for the motor, you get to help in my next project build.
oh yeah, its got a couple of grand in mods, nothing super crazy though. some are: custom HKS Ti exhaust (cat back), EBC/Brembo brake setup, KYB struts/Sprint springs, custom CNC machined strut tower bars(fully adjustable), MSD ignition, AEM/HKS induction, and so on..Jan 04, 2009

Preformance wise the car has a solid feel at the wheel. It accelerates quickly, brakes were good, but were replaced with new ones. Handling was all there where you point the wheel the car went. It needed a lot of repairs, but that comes with older cars. Never had any other problems. The car for its year was a a good look for it, interior was clean and comfy. Amazing on gas mainance was easy could do it your self. The car was fun to drive and you could take it any where. For a family sedan, the car was great.Dec 01, 2008

the thing i like best about it is that i built it myself. that makes it better than any car you can buy. it has 265k miles on it and i wouldnt trade it for anything...i dislike any new car due to all the stupid computer systems. I've owned my saturn for 8 years now and i plan on running it until it cant run any more!!!Nov 17, 2008

i like my little saturn, its so sexy! and kernic looks real manly driving it too. the performance is great for such an old car, the body is in excellent condition and they said it was one of the best etests they had ever seen when we put it on the road. hurray for saturns!Aug 12, 2008

love the gas mileage, love the get up and go of the car, but I hate that its sat for two years and there are a few problems associated with that. I like the new stereo that I put in it, I've put alot into this car and I know that it will treat me good for a long time to come.Aug 10, 2008

Well this car was not to bad to me for awhile. was pretty quick had a dohc motor that was pretty tourqey and sounded amazing with the magna flow muffler that i had on it. But it was made of plastic verything wanted to rattle off of it in the inside but it was a fun car.Jul 23, 2008

The body panels are made from plastic, which is very durable. No need to worry about dents or dings, the fenders keep their shape surprisingly well. With 200,000+ miles, it burns a little oil, but I have never had a problem with it mechanicaly.Apr 19, 2008

The car was small and had a small gas tank. Easy to chuck around corners, hard to drift.
