The car was just fine, and it was a good value. The trouble with the car, for me, was that I sat far too low in the drivers seat, and the seat could not be raised make the cars visibility for me safe. Otherwise was a very nice car.Sep 28, 2023

This Firebird is not a Formula as advertised, it is a base Firebird with no formula hood, no turbocast wheels that are listed in the specifications. This base Firebird is being advertised as a formula which it is not.Jul 07, 2022

The 3rd Generation Pontiac Firebird Trans Am is great example of America building good sports cars. In high school I drove one with t-tops and it was very fun to drive. One of the best things was cruising around this with the t-tops off.
I wish some American cars today would be built a car that captured that early 90s style and give us t-topsMay 09, 2014

I love my firebird, I get nothing but positive remarks and compliments on it. it has been a very dependable car and I have had very little trouble at all since I bought it. The only complaint I have for the car is that it came with the stock 305 and that was a very weak engine. A head turner everywhere I go, it has been a very dependable car.Jan 22, 2014

I Love This Car. Especially Since I've Completed All The Upgrades I Planned On Doing To It When I Originally Bought This Car. My Firebird Turns Heads And Receives Compliments Every Single Time It Is Driven...Along With People Constantly Wanting To Buy My Car.

I like the look. Sound and driving it. Parts believe it or not are pretty easy to get when needed. I've brought parts from places in uk and what I couldn't get I shipped parts like new windscreen over from the states. Yes at some cost but a jobs not worth doing if not done properly. And now nearing the end of my restore my firebird looks fantastic inside an out. But Remmber every car is a commitment and especially a 22 yr old one. You will never stop trying to improve it so it can be exspensive. I'm glad I bought it though I paid £2051 on eBay got it deliverd to me and have spent the past 3yrs restoring her. Kinda like one of the family now and my little girl loves going out in it. I'll say if you like American muscle and your not afraid of a bit of hard work and want to drive a price of history then what better way to introduce you then a firebird. Great on motorway exspensive burning round town though. Doesn't like traffic jams in hot weather can overheat. Other then that and using a outdoor cover or better a garage. May 19, 2012

Appearance: a real showcar that is for sure
Performance for a 3.1 V6 could be better, too slow for this big engine, only 140 PK
Fun factor: no dynamic driving possible, drives like a boat
Cost of ownership: high taxes

I truly enjoyed driving the firebird, the only downside was that the car was so old, with that being said they need alot of work to be in a semi-new condition. But half the fun of having an old firebird is working on it.Nov 22, 2009

One of the best cars Ive ever owned-too bad I was a teenager it got me in A LOT of trouble! lol Had fun installing some performance mods, exhaust, and audio equipment. New 3.1 V-6. It has a small oil leak where the intake manifold mounts to the engine. I have the gasket set to fix it. I has been driving it for a little over two years now, just adding oil occasionally. My step dad overhauled the engine about 20000 miles ago and it runs great. Started with no problem in the extreme cold. Real good tires and brakes. Transmission seems to be working well. Small blemishes here and there on the body but nothing major. It needs one motor on the retractable headlights to make them work correctly otherwise they are open all the time. The radio that is in the car works fine but I do have an aftermarket radio with cd player and installation kit (not installed) that comes with it. I'll knock 100.00 off the selling price if you don't want the radio. The mileage on the car is just over 200000 but it doesn't look it. $1500.00 or Best offer. This is a good driving car. This i an original with 15750 km. Stil lhas same air filter.
A v8 engine with a 305 block. Handles well and performance is quick. Black interior , fully loaded , T top..
even has electric tunck. This car is ot for sale!!
It has never been driven in the winter, nor will it.

Has 305 V8 so have good acceleration and it has WS6 suspention so it handlings good but the brakes are too small for the car. T-Tops look cool on the car, bad mpg... fun to drive around in the summer but there are a lot of little things that break and that are annoying like the hood shocks and truck shocks go out and don't work and the interior isn't that good.Dec 27, 2008

Had great torque and the handling was very nice.
it was built good but had not been taken care of, it need a lot work
its a good looking car but had a lot of dents.
gas mileage was decent 16 around town.

plenty of fun to drive...abit of a headturner on the streets, acceptable power ratio for 3.1 v6 medium size muscle car, puts the fun back in driving and a smile on most peoples faces as you drive by. bought two years ago and its been practically trouble free motoring all the way....Aug 23, 2008

This car is a lot of fun to drive. I love the body style of firebirds and i must say 92 is my favorite year model. Everything about the car seas to hold together very well and the hatch back really amplifies the subs. I dont think i will ever sell this car.Aug 13, 2008

fast as hell built it from the ground up gas milage sucks but is made up for with its power cant say much for build quality cept nothing broke but i ve changed everything on the car nothing is stock. any car with a 44 inch bird on the hood looks gorgeous but compared to a mustang or rice def better no doubt about it.Jul 31, 2008

This car looks amazing, the lines are all very smooth and perfect...every elegant. Problem is you got 130hp and loose brakes. You have no handling. You have no power, and the little you have you have no control over. This is why the 4th gen exists.Mar 16, 2008

When I first bought my 1992 V6 Pontiac Firebird, it had over 100,000 miles on it. Although I
did have to put an additional $3000 dollars into the vehicle after buying it, I am nevertheless
still satisfied with it. It does not break down that often, and when it does, most of the time
the needed part got be gotten for cheap by scraping it from an Trans Am or Camero. All in
