Performs like a dream for how old it is. Great acceleration and good handling. ABS system is good too. Needed alot of repairs. All that's left is the wrinkle in the front fender. People say it looks like a "mafia" car. Probably because the trunk is massive. Interior is great, lots of neat options (pw/pl,p sunroof, ice cold a/c). Great on gas, pretty good on insurance. My first brand-new car! I bought this in December of 1992 when the dealership was desperate to get rid of the 1992 models. The Altima came out in 1993, in fact those still said "Stanza ALTIMA" on them. I got one that was nearly stripped of features, and had them add on a factory air conditioner. (This IS Texas, after all!) Lasted into 2000 until it developed a transmission problem that cost more to repair than the car was worth. Fixable, and predictable problem (the throwout bearing for the manual transmission wore out) so I'd say it was the most reliable vehicle I've ever owned. Apr 21, 2008
