Goes like a rocket, door trims known for fabric coming off, fun to drive and handles like its on rails, cheap on fuel unless of cause you give it a hiding all the time, sr20de is one of the best and quickest n/a motors in a 4cylApr 04, 2010

love my car, good engine, good looks, but a bit old and has suffered wear and tear. great fun to drive and once i get some money will be even better. i have the ti model which comes with power every thing, and the sr20 is a great power plant.Jan 19, 2010

Well my car isn't that great yet.. In the stages of rebuilding. But n14's are strong cars with sr20de engines! Great handling. They are cheap to fix. And if your wanting to modify it, it can be modded cheap for good results!Aug 31, 2009

With the exhaust (full system), upgraded disk
brakes, short shifter and super stiff suspension it
was great to power slide and had good take off.
and still runs like i first got it with no real power
loss... But on long trips like over a few hours it get
a bit rough and you better take your panadol for
that head ache the loud exhaust will give you.Aug 25, 2009

If you want an Escort Cosworth but can't afford one then get the GTiR, slightly quicker and a lot cheaper!!
Tuning possibilities are limitless and the 4 wheel drive is brilliant except for the slight under steer.
Buy it!

This car is awesome all round. Mine is a sedan 4 door though not a 2 door. Never had any trouble with it and cant see myself selling it anytime soon. The only repairs it needs is a few tiny spots of rust.Jul 20, 2009

pulsar. the most reliable car ever. never breaks down that i really care about with my car, not the best looking or the fastest but i can count on it. cost of ownership? 30 bucks a week petrol not much maintenance cost nothing really goes wrong just normal service costsAug 18, 2008

For its time, 105kW in a small car was unheard of. This car had better acceleration than most, with 0-100km/h of about 8s. Front drive could not handle the power so well, so it tended to skid off the mark. Feb 10, 2008
